Moody has shown his value as a player and should be given a chance to start . Moody has been a victim of Kerr’s mishandling the rotation and giving him a definitive role on this team. Clearly this year has been a complete and abject failure . A lot of that resides with Kerr who clearly failed to play his best line ups. Warriors need to relegate Klay Thompson to the bench as a Sixth Man , trade Wiggins . We need height so either draft a big man, sign a veteran on vet minimum or FA. Get rid of small ball, use it occasionally when the match ups are favorable but not as a staple for the next years team . Look at bringing a young big like Kai Soto .

Moody should be taking over Klay's spot. He can defend. And doesnt need as many attempts to score points as he just doesnt settle for the three like Klay does. Klay is only in the conversation to stay a Warrior as a career achievement award to Warriors fans. If it were any other player besides the Dubs three, the fanbase would have kicked him out the door already for what he has contributed and produced this past season.
Moody at 21 is 10 years of 18-24 points a game and good D if you give him 30 minutes consistently.

Moody should be the starting 2
I think Moody needs to start next season either at SG or SF to give him a fair chance at succeeding by becoming a more consistent performer, just like what happened with JK. His effort and all-round game is always excellent and while his shooting can be a touch streaky at times that should improve as he gets more regular minutes and doesn't have to worry about his role or DNPs. Trading him or letting him continue to wither on the bench will be a massive fail.

If I was a young player I would not want to play for Kerr, the most overrated coach in NBA history. Since KD left, the team is .500, less if 2022 is not included. Missed the playoffs three times in five seasons. Didn't even have his rotations set all year this season. His decisions are made too late when he actually makes decisions that need to be made. If I was Moody or Kuminga I would demand a trade.

Kerr getting the extension was a HUGE mistake. He was COMPLETELY incompetent as a coach for MOST of this season. I don't blame Moody. I'd be PISSED if I was him and would want out. Kerr's contract just guarantees the Dubs won't be doing anything the next couple seasons. We will be lucky to survive the Kerr era and still have JK. Kerr is ABSOLUTELY incompetent at coaching youth. If he isn't handed a playoff ready team, he is shit. NO CLUE at how to develop and utilize young players.
