No, you'll be voting Conservative. Any vote in our first-past-the-post general election that is not strategically placed to get this bunch of homicidal parasites out, is a vote to keep them in. General elections are not the time to be fussy. It's a two-horse race and all the other parties are just there to make people think they have a democratic choice.
I'd also take a good look at what is actually _true,_ compared to what the hard left are saying about Starmer if I were you. He is not supporting Israel, Labour did push for a ceasefire before the end of October last year, and the CPC were constrained by protocol regarding how the Assange issue was handled.
There's a lot of utter crap being spouted about Starmer's time as DPP, but the CPC _only_ handles cases being investigated by the police and the DPP's role is purely to oversee that process. They cannot order investigations or direct procedures.
Perhaps the fact that certain people with more influence than they deserve are pushing these lies about Starmer, may just indicate that he isn't the pantomime villain he is being made out to be.

Immigration isn’t bad for the country at all, it’s a net positive for the country and the economy. Yet the Tories, the so called party of the economy, can’t seem to see that. They’re too busy hoping that being aggressive against immigration aka illegal, will win them the small amount of stupid, racist voters in the country that they seem think make up the majority of people outside the Westminster/Kensington bubble!

He then floats into Wales clutching brolly like July Andrews and asks people if they'll be watching the football even though Wales have been knocked out of the Euro's then heads off to a biscuit factory to get asked questions by two Tory councillors that just happen to be there. Just to pile on the irony he's in Northern Ireland giving a speech where the Titanic was built you just can't make this stuff up.

7:10 - Sorry PoliticalX, but "Deliver economic stability", under a banner of "first steps for _change",_ does NOT mean "keeping the economy as it is". Our economy isn't 'stable', it's in a mess. To deliver economic stability, Labour needs to reduce inflation and introduce wealth into the economy in order to stimulate growth. We don't know how they intend to do it, but there are various things that won't require raised taxation, such as ditching NHS commissioning and bringing the bits of the NHS the Tories have sold off by stealth back into public ownership, putting a leash on the energy companies, closing tax loopholes, enforcing taxation of the rich, and sorting out the asylum backlog so that those who are entitled can start contributing to the economy. There probably will be some tax increases, but not for working people; they've just taken a leaf out of the Tories' book and are not talking about it.
The Tories made absolutely no promises last time apart from 'get Brexit done!', and they didn't even do that. We're _still_ suffering the Tories' Brexit death-by-installments right now.

It's such a shame the only choice we have is to vote for the super wealthy and privileged.
The only way forward I can see to get "ordinary working class" people to become MPs and rid the political system of the rich and Eton college educated is to change the rules so being an MP is the only source of income they can have. I would even lower the salary so its less appealing to the non producers.

@FigitTheDigit the greens won't get a majority. That's why the first past the post system needs scrapping.

So many misguided perceptions here. Keir Starmer is the Prime Minister this country has been without for too long. I am looking forward to a landslide and a brighter future for my poor old country.

Keir Starmer's strings are pulled by Mandleson and Blair and his blind support for Israel's atrocities against innocent civilians has turned the public against him.

GOOD video, NOT a great video, I have to be honest here and stand by what I have always said about these 'VOX POP' videos and that is, that they are of NO use whatsoever, (Sorry guys I know they must be hard work to put together and to edit etc)
GIVE ME a film crew and a few hours in any town or city in the UK, and I guarantee I will put together a 10 minute video which shows that the majority of the people in that town can't name the current prime minister, in fact if it suits you I can demonstrate that NO ONE in that town knows what a prime minister is.
I think the only thing these videos show is that the 'man in the street' is on the whole FING CLUELESS about the politics of this country, and that depresses the shite out of me, because almost every single one of the clueless, and there are MILLIONS of them out there, will cancel out the vote of someone ANYONE who knows why and who and what they are voting for, regardless of who that may be,
Don't get me wrong I utterly despise Starmer and what he has done to our party, I say this as a 71 year life long Labour voter. July 4th will be a new experience for this old codger, for the first time in my life I shall NOT be voting Labour in a general election, or any other elections I may live to see.
I am FINISHED with the Labour party, I could no more bring myself to vote for Starmers 'continuity Conservative party' than I could the OG Tories.
I intended to not vote for them as long as they had a Tory for a leader, however, his open and CLEAR support for genocide and war crimes finished the party for me, because every single MP of that party should have resigned on the spot as soon as he uttered those vile words, but they didn't and therefore have the blood of murdered children on their hands, in exactly the same way that the Hamas terrorist of Oct 7th do.
There can never be any justification for the killing of unarmed civilians regardless of WHO is doing the killing.
    NOT IN MY NAME.

Corbyn's Labour policies were excellent and everyone asked in the last election agreed with them until they were told who's policies they were. The media did a very successful hatched job on him.
