CubeStyle Windmill Cube Tutorial

The CubeStyle Windmill Cube is a fun shape shifting 3x3 mod. As crazy as it looks all scrambled up, its fairly easy to solve. I recommend slightly modifying the beginners method for the standard 3x3. If you need a full list of steps and algs, scroll to the bottom of this description.

3x3 Steps and Algorithms
1. Top Layer:
This is going to be an intuitive step. You’ll need to align the 4 center in the middle as you build your top cross.
2. Top Corners:
If the white face is facing right perform this: F, D, F’
If the white face is facing you, perform this: R’, D’, R
3. Middle Layer:
If you’re going to the right: D, L, D’, L’, D’, F’, D, F
If you’re going to the left: D’, R’, D, R, D, F, D’, F’
4. Bottom Layer:
Perform this till you have the yellow cross: F, R, U, R’, U’, F’
To aligh the yellow cross: R, Ux2, R’, U’, R, U’, R’, U’
To align the yellow corners: L’, U, R, U’, L, U, R’, U’
To finish the cube (Last step):R, Ux2, R’, U’, R, U’, R’ / L’, Ux2, L, U, L’, U, L

good for first 2 layers but you have only addressed your situations which leaves people who have scrambled their cube well in the dark in the last layer, i've tried rescrambling it 3 times now to get your case and i haven't got it once so please explain ALL cases and not just yours

Dude just keep at it its just like a 3x3 except for the last edge orientations
It not annoying for me anymore because I own a fisher cube it the literal 3x3 version of the windmill and solve many time (now I miss ignorance)

You can also sove the last edges the same as you would for the basic method of a three by three.

Use the tank with side headlights pll to 3 cycle the corners on top and you should be able to figure it out from this video from there

When u have three corners to get to the right colors, hold the correct one at the bottom corner and just repeat the algorithm

For 3 layer you can just do 3by3 corners, r u rp up and so on until they are in places

This is a good guide, but I will say that once you have layer one flipping the whole cube upside down so yellow is on top makes it way, way easier, and on the last layer corner orientation you can just sexy move it

Thank you so much, I still didn't get it because I clearly blanked out somewhere in Yellow (I already had everything else figured out, so I came here for yellow), but I'll come back to this. My brain doesn't pay attention on yellow for some reason lol
Edit: I just went back while even MORE tired, found but barely understood the move that I missed, did it, almost gave up, tried one last time and accidentally solved it... A little more tinkering and sleep and I'll definitely get it properly. I've muscle memorized the new moves so it's only a matter of time.

OMG!!!!!!!!!! IT TOOK ME FOR EVERRRRRRRRRRR, to solve it.... had to watch it on 0.25 speed starting from the yellow side... took me 4 hours + dear lord... it was always mirrored in colours and i was somehow always getting is wrong, and starting all over again a couple of times...

My windmill cube is exactly like yours, but everytime I get to the yellow layer it has two corners swapped, example: all the edges and two corners are fine but the other two corners are swapped. I can easely make a clasic 3x3 rubik cube, but Im having troubles with this one.

LG Jay ツ yup. It’s pretty easy to figure out if you have basic 3x3 understanding. It’s still fun to scramble and solve.
