9:50 you can discover silver and gold rupees from the Thrill Digger minigame. Silvers can be found when there are 5 or 6 bombs/rupoors around one spot, while golds can be found when there are 7 or 8 bombs/rupoors around one spot.

If you equip 2 heat metals in hero mode the rate of heart spawns is equal to normal mode! O used this on the Wii, not sure about new ports. Also this is the 2nd best zelda game
When going against Ghirham when he is trying to grab your sword rock it back and forth over your head until he stops following it...then you can easily attack him opposite where his arm is positioned without him moving to grab it.
You missed one more cool trick. The part Link shoots a floating heart through the wood part (like a plank or a tree) with a bow & arrow. its been known since Skyward Sword E3 2010 Trailer

7:55 You can also deflect Demise's Sword Beams w/ the Bug Net which is the only way you can do it since doing it with your sword will get you shocked.

Near the ancient cistern you can hookshot to the vines turn around and use your beetle and grab the gold rupee
