- In today's video, I am giving you a flip through of my latest artist book - this book was inspired by quotes written by Angela Weiland Crosby. I love how her quotes moved me to create this piece. I hope you enjoy the flip through and her beautiful words
If you enjoy this video, it would be great if you could give it a thumbs up, leave a comment, or even subscribe so you don’t miss any updates!
** SUPPLIES **
I try my best to be sustainable with all of my supply purchases - this often means being very patient and waiting for a lot of those supplies to appear in charity shops! However, I do buy some things new and when I do I will link to them!
- repurposed paper samples
- fabric and paper scraps, leaves and pressed flowers
- metal bits
- acrylic paint, gesso, stamping ink
- dymo label maker

Notes From Nature is such a beautiful artist book love everything that youve done. I'm going see if I can create something similar im not an artist or anything like that, hopefully it will turn out ok lol
Looking forward to watching more of your videos and your beautiful creative work that you do.
I think Junk Journals are a wonderful way to be creative without beeing an "Artist" :)
Its a really freeing and loose way of beeing creative
@sharbee8033 thank you so much for your kind words!! You don’t need to be an “artist” to be a creative! Give it a go and I am sure it will be beautiful because you made it 🩷
I absolutely agree with you!
This is so creative what kind of stitches that it looks a bit like Coptic but then not.... Do you have a tutorial on that or where did you learn that stitch?❤
It is called slipknot binding - I made a tutorial on it in the video before this one, but you can just search as there are plenty of videos out there I am sure! It is great for single page binding and super easy to do too!
