- In the 2000's these 19 players were on everybody's radar who watched the NFL, but since then a lot of these pro bowlers have been lost to history. Today we are going to take a trip down memory lane and talk about some of the best pro bowlers of the 2000's. This list includes a bunch of names that you will recognize and some that still don't get enough credit for their efforts to this day.

Torry Holt needs to be in HOF, he is way underrated and forgotten
Hes gonna get in one of these years! eight straight 1000 yard seasons from 2000 to 2007 and 900+ catches and 74 TDs! Cant be missed for much longer
Most definitely
Just like the veterans committee in mlb holt will eventually get in.
I've been vouching for him on twitter for the past 2 years
I didn’t forget him, him and Issac Bruce were extremely talented.
Takeo spikes was always a free agent on madden for some reason 😭
2000s era of football was a golden era of NFL football
Specifically 2007-08 the best year in football history.
This was the era of football I fell in love with. It helped that my hometown Patriots were excellent, but the quality of play across the league made it fun to watch. There was parity while still having an upper echelon of teams (NE, PIT, IND, KC, PHI, GB).
Now? Half the league sucks. Last year was the worst-played and worst-officiated season I can remember. That, plus the criminalizing of playing defense is a recipe for a league that isn’t fun anymore.
Trust me. None of these guys are forgotten. If anything they are deeply missed given the current state of the game.
The game is just not the same anymore. It’s been taken over by Hollywood and the on field play is all over the place.
Crazy how Fred Taylor is one of the best RBs in history and only had 1 pro bowl. Dude had 1400 yards 18 TDs and didn't make the pro bowl one year 🤦🏿♂️
Should've made it that year, but not even top 25 rb all time
Unfortunately, Fred came up in the wrong conference. The AFC was always flooded with workhorse rbs.
Yes, I would agree. One of my favorite players to watch. He was mostly injured when the Jags were good and healthy when the team was really bad. And Jacksonville is a small market, during a time when tons of great running backs were in the league.
During that time that’s about average for a pro bowler/mvp
@@giant704priest holmes/tomlinson/jamal Lewis 😢
Playing madden in the 2000's was such a treat. Everyone you named on this list was the reasons I picked them to play in franchise mode or vs my friends. The fkin post route with Alge and Vick was unstoppable.
As an Eagles fan, it really makes me smile to see Troy Vincent. Him, Bobby Taylor and Brian Dawkins made up one of the best secondaries we’d had. That era of Eagles football represented great times here in Philly. On top of that, Ty Law is one of my favorite corners ever. Great video!
Brian Dawkins Lito Shepard Michael Lewis and Sheldon Brown. Was the best eagles secondary I've seen. All were all pro and Pro Bowlers
@koltontaylor7089 as an Eagles fan, I gotta tell you you're wrong. Dawkins and Sheppard were the only ones to be All-Pros and make the Pro Bowl. Michael Lewis only made it to the Pro Bowl, and Brown never made the pro bowl or All-Pro
Torry Holt has been snubbed from the HOF so many times now
Be honest I’m sure t.h gets in cuzz Antonio brown isn’t lol
Such a solid list. Love seeing Deuce 26 of the Saints. Die hard fan. Will say seeing Crumpler is great too, he gave us problems every game it seemed. I actually used his number on my middle school team. Was like five miles from the New Orleans superdome
Even tho he didn’t get his pro bowl nod til the 2010’s London Fletcher should be on this list.
One of the most criminally underrated LBs ever. Fletch should've made several probowls before he got his first.
"These are some of the forgotten stars of the 2000s"
Me who grew up during this NFL: *Matt Damon growing old gif*
Yeah this is an era I know the most players from. Playing madden or 2k games as a teen. I couldn't name most of any roster now, guess it's not important to know all the player names.
Content quality is crazy good, this channels gonna blow up
We stay grinding🤝 appreciate you
Respect for putting moose and Jake on here. 2 players that don’t get talked about enough
Respect for you putting in Ty law & boldin. 2000s had the greatest depth of underrated/over achieving pro bowl HOF deserving WRs.
Troy Vincent widely regarded as the commish to follow Goodell isn't worth mentioning?
I wish we had a football game that added old rosters to have to 2000s players
Im still playing 2k4 and Madden 05 on the ps2 😁
Fantastic video man, definately earned a sub. Cant wait to check out more of your content.
If you're planning to do a part 2, please include Sheldon Brown. He wasn't given the recognition because he lacked the INT's, but he was a true lockdown corner. I believe it was '07 when he didn't give up a single TD to an opposing receiver which is crazy. He also could lay the wood like no other CB.
I used to work at Stanley Steemer a few years back, I cleaned his house one time. Had all kinds of memorabilia that was really freaking cool, game
Worn jerseys etc.
I haven't forgotten any of them. Holt, the freak Kearse. I liked westbrook back then for the eagles. Underrated imp
YES! So happy to see Deuce Is On The Loose McAllister on here!
No one had more Receiving yards in the 2000s than Torry Smith put him in the HOF
Reggie wayne, marvin harrison, hines ward, dez bryant, mcnabb, rich gannon, troy palamalu, vince young, darron McFadden, dante culpepper,
when I was growing up I had no clue Kearse played on any team except the eagles
I feel like Dallas Clark was lowkey so underrated
Always loved picking up Issac Bruce on madden for the vet w.o help in madden 06 lol
If you played NFL Street, you know all these guys 😂
RIP Steve Mcnair
My era of football
TJ Whosyourmama probably the hardest NFL player’s last name to spell. Boldin was my fav, no matter what team he was on. Also on the receiving end of one of the cheapest shots ever delivered.
You can’t forget the original Super “Freak”!!! Uncle Ike said Tina/ Anna Mae is the only person that can bend a corner faster than the “Freak”!
As a former Jags supporter thank you for mentioning Fred Taylor
Cut then signed by the redskins… almost a universal constant of 2000’s sports
Born in 98 and been a football fan since my dad got me madden 01 on my GameCube. I know all these players
Never was a patriots fan but Ty law was my dawg
Wow 0 views in 2 minutes crazy
@@BingoTheGamer fall off is quite embarrassing tbh
@@FantasyPhenoms I know
Donald Driver put up most of those 1k yard with Brett Favre and he didn't play with Jennings and Jordy til later in his career
I was on the football team Torry Holt was coaching for, but because I wasn’t knowledgeable about football I didn’t even know how big a name he was, but that’s the beauty of it because he was just a really cool dude.
Who?
@@kayjay3257 Torry Holt
Reminds me of when I met Dorsey Levens as a kid playing pop Warner football cuz he grew up where I’m from.
Jimmy Smith and Keenan McCardell. Btw Taylor took a step back statistically in 2005 because he only played in 11 games.
Only 20 minutes in but bro better mention Keenan McCardell 😂 and Joe jerevicious 😂
He lost me at Tory Holt. Definitely not forgotten and an eventual HOFer
Isaac Bruce probably didn’t make the pro bowl because he was in the Super Bowl 😂
Under one hour gang
Right at 1 hour fang
One hour gang
Takeo was insane in 2004
2003 Fred Taylor was so good (and that was a 5 win Jaguars team)
Holt is overshadowed by Bruce and Bruce is overshadowed by Holt... which one is it my dude?...
I would say Holt over shadows Bruce more but it’s close like Harrison barely overshadowing Wayne
Boldin played The Steelers in super bowl during the 08-09 Szn not 2012 btw 🤞🏽🕊
guy talking sounds like Edelman
Yea I agree tory holt should b in the HOF bcuz he was a great receiver for the rams
Rod Smith should be in the HOF.
Read too quick. Was expecting a Pete Weber documentary.
I PLAYED AGAINST KEARSE IN COLLEGE & ALEX BROWN WAS HIS BACK UP 🤷🏿♂️
Sweat is that you 😭
1970s nfl draft picks
Kyle Vandan Bosh?
How did D Driver make pro bowl with 500 yards???
Driver got hurt in the SB
Jeremy shockey was a bad boy
1st moss carter
2nd Harrison Wayne
3rd holt Bruce
4th moss welker
Hold on I'm sorry. Who the fuck forgot about Anquan???
bro talkin bout these guys forgot about, anybody watchin the NFL kno every last one of these dudes
Bro Muhsin Muhammad was underrated as hell. The dude was a beast in the deep pass game and had crazy speed. Was pulling for him in the 03 super bowl
Bro steve smith isn't forgotton lol
2000s was the last great decade for the NFL the league is a joke now 💯
Bob sanders
What about Bob Sanders, Brian Westbrook, Shaun Alexander, Stephan Davis, Edgerrin James, Jason Taylor, Champ Bailey, London Fletcher, Zach Thomas.
All good choices. James, Bailey and Thomas are in the Hall today. Westbrook had HOF talent but was injured too often. Same with Sanders. London Fletcher on the other hand absolutely deserves to be in the Hall. He was a nightmare to play against. I recall one game where he came on a blitz and knocked a 330lbs lineman on his ass, and then on the very next play he broke up a pass on a wheel rout 40 yards downfield. Absolutely nuts.
And Santana moss
I'm here early fools
Can't call Washington "Redskins" bro.
@@RiVer-Parish can’t refer to them by their name in the past huh
Everyone in these comments…
“I remember him how could anyone forget about him🤓🤓” like bro this video was made for you, you aren’t some guru for remembering Brian Dawkins
Calm down, lil bro.
What does Muhsin Muhammad, Torry Holt and Isaac Bruce have in common?……Adam Vinatieri.
Fred Taylor is my favorite player of all time.
