So these grills are the best of the best, the most luxurious most expensive grills that exist in the market today. Lets break down the top 5. Lets just say that any of the grills in the top 5 are the best that exist!
Lets break them down.
#5- Blaze Pro
Whats awesome about this grill, is its super heavy duty with cast stainless steel burners, high BTU and awesome building materials with high end raw materials. The reason I would buy this grill, is it makes the top 5 while being somewhat affordable in the context of luxury which is great.
#4- Fire Magic
The Benefit to fire magic grills is going to be that its old reliable! This grill Is so awesome, and of course built with the highest quality materials, We failed to mention all of these grills come loaded, with interior and exterior lighting, rotisserie kits, etc. What I like about fire magic, is its reliable, This grill is like your grandpa, never lets you down. This grill has a deep fire box, and is great for flare ups, etc.
#3- Al Fresco
What is awesome about this grill, is the heavy duty materials, for example the hood is super sturdy compared to other products. Also they have a built in smoker boxes, titanium Steel Burners, and hidden rotisserie motors as well.
#2- Lynx Professional Series
The common thing with Lynx is going to be two things, first is this grill in my opinion is one of the most attractive grills out there today. Its simple clean lines make this grill super pretty and will look great in any outdoor kitchen appliactions. But the main reason to buy this grill is going to be the all trident infrared burners. The best thing here is you get all the benefits of infrared technology however, the problem normally is going to be that infrared cooks too hot, and you cant turn it down. Whats awesome is the lynx product can turn down to 300 degrees and no other grills can accomplish that.
#1- Hestan Gas Grills
there is so much to say about this grill, the awesome trident burners, the rotisserie burner on the roof, I could go on and on, the bottom line is this is the best grill we have ever tested by gar, and its also in my opinion the best grill ever made. And there is nothing else even close. Being the luxury category this is the best of the best, top of the mountain, the best grill of all time. Am I making myself clear!

Thanks for the review Trevor!! Very simple and effective comparison 👍🏻👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the feedback!
Great job I am in the market for a luxury grill and you have made it easy answered all my questions 👍
we just released a 2022 video of this as well
Enjoy all of your videos Trevor, this one no exception. Recently watched your review of Summerset and AMG's Muscle Grill for which you were super enthusiastic about, so wondering why it didn't make the top 5 cut? Thanks for sharing all of this stuff!
its a great grill, its a bit pricey though and I think the ones in this video are more refined and just perform a touch above the AMG
I had no idea that Hestan made an outdoor grill, but they are well-known for commercial and commercial/residential indoor ranges. It looks absolutely stunning and probably cooks as well as it looks.
Yes they do
Love the videos. These grills make me drool, maybe one day.
Glad you like them!
I really struggled to decide between the Lynx Professional and the Hestan when I bought two summers ago. I ended up going with the 36" Hestan on the pull-cart with the side-burners. It is truly outstanding and I have no regrets.
thanks for the feedback
The ceramic brickets on the Hestan are too Far apart. How does that work for heat distribution?
How did you make the decision? I’m in the same boat right now and there just isn’t a ton of info out there on the Hestans.
@@sfdwilly The feature set of the Hestan was the clincher for me: rear burner that also can be used as a broiler; hood that can be left open in any position; flippable sear grate/ceramic briquettes; flippable heavy duty grills; built-in storage for warming rack and rotisserie rod. The only thing the Lynx had that the Hestan didn't was the liquid hood handle and the ceramic burners , which at the time didn't have a durability track record, so I was a little nervous about those.
I love this guy. Great reviewer. Thanks champ.
Glad you enjoy it!
Great video. Would love to see reviews, comparison on pizza ovens. Looking for countertop version for my outdoor kitchen.
Great idea!! We will put that down on our video list! Thanks for watching and supporting the videos!
Coiled Flat Spring is the one that looks round. An extension spring is used on Lynx hood.
cool
Great Video! I'm partial to TEC IR grills myself 😊
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the review - Hestan it is! Gotta go with the best!
Let us know if you want to order one from us!
Need advice: For 36" models, which do you think is better - Lynx with all trident or Hestan with all trellis (so not to lose grilling real estate with one sear burner)? Can the trellis burners reach searing temps? Love the videos!
yes the trellis can reach searing temp. However it won't replace infrared. So I would recommend either lynx all trident or the hestan with at least 1 infrared burner. Let us know, and we can help you with your purchase if you want
Hello EF&OL. Great videos. I'm curious why the Twin Eagles Eagle One did not make the cut.
I've asked to work with them like 20-30 times, they have basically no interest in working with us for whatever reason
Thanks for this review! In trying to cook “restaurant quality” steaks at very high heat (+1000F), how do you compare these models, and especially the lynx versus hestan?
I personally like Hestan, but both are great
Great video...gonna start saving up!🙂
Good choice!
Awesome grills for sure! Makes me wonder what are your thoughts on Hamrforge products since we are dreaming ...
I gotta check it out
Great video and videos in general. I notice this has the trellis stainless burners vs the Lynx having the all ceramic burners. It seems like the all ceramic burners would be a win for both heat management and long term durability (lack of corrosion etc) though you seem to like the Hestan better? Do you prefer it's burners over the all ceramic ones on the Lynx or is it that all the other features just add up to more?
a little bit of both, with the hestan burners being 321 stainless there won't ever be a problem either.
Great video. What’s your opinion on the hybrid American Made Grill? Is it superior or inferior to a Hestan?
personally I think the hestan is more functional and more refined, and the burners are better
Nice review!
Thanks!
Another great video. Looking for some advice. I’m strongly considering the Alfresco grill. But would really love to get the Hestan after seeing your reviews. My biggest draw to the Hestan is the reversible ceramic briquettes and grills for cleaning but the price tag is the limiting factor. I know I’ll find it annoying to have to have an extra step of flipping the briquettes to clean them on other grills. But having trouble justifying the price difference. I’m in Canada. I can get a Alfresco 42” for $9.8k. The Hestan Jumps to $13k. Considered the Lynx but it’s $12k at that point might as well get the Hestan. So started considering the Aspire ($7.5k) as an option given the reversible briquettes. But not sure if that’s too big of a step down from the Alfresco and rest of the luxury category?
Would love your opinion about Aspire vs Alfresco or whether the big dog Hestan is just really worth splurging for?
Thanks!
well it depends on how long your gonna keep your grill, and how much you use it, etc. Give us a ring and ask for me, tell them I responded to your comment, and we can chat about it!
@@embersliving Thanks a lot, I really appreciate that. Given it’s the weekend now, I’ll give you a call on Monday or Tuesday. Thanks again.
@DrNovakovic which grill did you end up going with and how do you like it?
Awesome review Trevor!! I own the exact Alfresco model that you featured in this video and I love it but, the Hestan does beat it on all the points that you listed however, I wouldn't call the Hestan grill the best in the world since there is a grill that, in my opinion, beats the Hestan for the tidal of the "best grill in the world" but, it's the price of a medium range car (well out of my price range).. Everybody has their opinion but, I feel that the Kalamazoo K1000HS Freestanding hybrid grill has earned the title of "best grill in the world" and not because it's ridiculously over priced, but because it's a game changing grill that I wish I could justify buying.
We have been trying to get ahold of one.
No mention of Kalamazoo which I'm considering, are these considered better? Or "Twin Eagle"?
Yeah sorry about that!! We still need to get our hands on a Kalamazoo grill! They are beautiful! Just need to get hands on with one!
Have you ever seen or tried a Kalamazoo Grill? I looked online and wonder if they’re as good as they look.
yes we would love to get our hands on one
Where is Kalamazoo? How about Wolf? I have 2 Wolfs and they treat me right but great video
We just released a bunch of Kalamazoo videos
What about the aspire by hestan? Could that be one of the top 5 premium grill if so where would it fall on that list ?
we are waiting to get our hands on one to review
Aspire is TRASH compared to Mack daddy Hestan! Seriously, it's nice but definitely nowhere near LUXURY. It could.be a contender in the premium category
What are your thoughts on the Blaze pro vs the Bull Diablo elite?
blaze pro all day, and we have great specials on it right now
What are your thoughts on the Klamooze 750 hybrid?
I gotta get my hands on one still
What do you think about Wolf? or the Bull Diablo elite?
wolf is just a private label grill that wolf labels so they can match their indoor stuff. Diablo elite isnt a. bad grill, but I would not put it in the luxury line up. all of our luxury models are American made
I'll still take my Lynx Pro 54. Hestan is nice, but I decided Lynx was for me.
Ohh yeah the Lynx will get the job done for sure!! No doubt about it. Thanks for watching.
Is there a way to review longterm users of the Hestan product? There seems to be a lot of videos of their product but there doesn't seem to be a "real life" review. Everyone says they love it and they cook great, but what's so great about it vs another make. I've found your reviews the most neutral and unbiased.
Agree. I’m don’t need to look at the brand new grill. I want to know how it cooks. Flare ups. How hot does that top burner get? How even does it cook.
make sure to subscribe, I am currently building an hestan outdoor kitchen at my house, with lots of real time cook videos to come!
@@embersliving Seen some reviews of Hestan about flare ups and the grates very hard too clean, I’m looking at the DCS for comparison- Thoughts?
@@embersliving Did you ever finish that outdoor kitchen? Which Hestan did you put in, and assuming it's up and running now, what are your "real user" comments? Thanks for any candid feedback you can provide since reviews are hard to find. Thanks!
@@gordonlee7027 All the equipment is in we just have to put it together probably close to spring.
TEC is full infrared grills with temperature control down to 300 and up to 900.
Oh that sounds great! We will have to check them out! Thanks for the comment!
They invented infrared. Their new patented glass infrared system is far superior in searing than anyone else's technology. They all use tec's old perforated ceramic design which has flaws. The biggest flaw is that when it gets wet with grease or rain or marinade, it creates a huge temperature swing on the delicate ceramic and the perforations crack. This creates uneven pressure on the ceramic and creates hot spots and cold spots. The eventual issue with enough cracks is full burner flame out where there's too much leakage and the burner flames itself out when it lights.
TEC identified this flaw in their design and has moved to a glass design where it's 100% infrared heat doing the cooking. The ceramic design introduces convective cooking which dries the food out. TEC has had some issues with glass cracking but I think they have it sorted out now.
TEC can turn the heat down to 200 degrees and is the most even cooking grill you can buy. Also extremely well made. My old TEC lasted 21 years before I upgraded to the new style and it still worked, although it did get new burners at 16 years old due to the previous cracking flaw I mentioned.
I have an older TEC w the glass panels and it’s amazing. Heat is ridiculous and the glass panels protect the infrared burners. The only downside is you can’t get the flame-seared char on meat…if your in to that.
What’s the best 25-28” gas grill for the money.
you should watch our updated video of this
So I have about $5000 to spend on a freestanding grill. Which has the best and most bang for that price?
Great question! Depends on what kind of features you want. It may be easier to give us a call!
What about a TEC infrared grill?
we have reviews on those, they aren't bad, but not quite in the luxury category
What category would you rank Cal Flame grills?
premium not luxury but they are nice
@@embersliving Thank you
They look so good! Grills I insipid to talk my wife into buying in about 10 years 😅.
Hahah nice grills not os nice price tags
You don’t ask they wife. Just tell her your sick of buying grills every five years and you need an all stainless grill. Then buy it!
@@nathanevers1148 lol, I did that last year when I upgraded from $200 big box store junk to a $1200 napoleon prestige. Now if just one year later, I order a $5000+ dream machine, I'd be dead. 😅
Which one is best for steaks (searing etc)
hestan, but they are all good
@@embersliving so, better than the trident burners? good to know
So many comments on "where is Kalamazoo"? And, it's a fair question, but I wonder how many of you have actually cooked on one? I spent two weeks cooking with a brand new K'azoo last summer. Had the wood/charcoal tray and based on the model, the list price was $20-25,000. Not sure what the owner paid but assume it was in that range. And yes, it was an incredible grill. The best. A tank. It's for the person who just says "I want the best", and that's what the owner did. But is it worth two-to-three times what these others cost? Make better food? Last three times as long? Not to me. The wood/charcoal tray is nice, but since it's a gasser and by necessity permanently well-ventilated, the limited temperature control when burning wood/charcoal greatly restricts what you can do with this fuel source.
I would agree with that
No dcs series 9?
we are working on it with them
While $8,000+ isn't the end of the world .. that Lynx at what $1,000 less has that very interesting superior infrared temperature control burner. I cook steaks primarily on a gas grill. Otherwise I'm into a smoker. There's no such thing as a one grill catch-all.
good point also
what about coyote or napoleon?
they are in our premium and quality video, they dont quite qualify for our luxury category
Where would the Twin Eagles - Eagle One fall into this lineup?
eagle one is pretty good, I would say #6
@@embersliving I would caution those looking at Twin Eagles. At least from my experience with our 42" freestanding w/dual side burners. Over the last 10 years of use: Infrared burner crapped out and had to be replaced, now on the 3rd thermometer first two both quit completely, tray holding the ceramic briquettes disintegrated and had to be replaced, wire harness for blue led lights became defective and had to be replaced, flame starter hoods rusted out and were replaces, bolt & nut holding the rotisserie bracket on rusted through and were replaced, cart door hinges rusted to the point they had to be replaced. BTW: the grill has religiously been covered when not in use. Latest word is the company has been purchased so who knows what will happen. Regardless, my single experience with their lack of quality in a $7,500 grill hasn't been good, ergo the caution statement for anyone considering buying from Twin Eagles.
Where does eagle one stand here?
its nice, but more gimmicky then functional. for example the cooking grates are laughably large to the point of overkill
Quibble: Firemagic is an E burner, not H.
so sorry
What about Kalamazoo grills?
we have a newer video explaining it, check it out!
I luv my weber kettle
so we just got the retro weber kettles in. We're going to shoot a video on it soon
I clean, repair, and replace all of these contracted under Bar-B-Clean San Diego.
thanks for the feedback
In your opinion from previous work. What mostly do you see coming back for replacement or repair and generally any major complaints?
I was surprised not to see a Kalamazoo grille on this list
We are working on one
@@embersliving how do you rate the Kalamazoo against the Hestan?
@@embersliving do you sell online?
Would you think maybe the Kalamazoo might give Hestan a run for the “ Best “ grill on the Planet?
Yeah, it might. We're trying to get our hands on one for a versus video.
The Kalamazoo also gives you the option of charcoal and wood/smoking while having luxury quality. I’d love to see your versus vid. However, I don’t think they have lights as they claim their internal temps are too high???
Flat style grates are laser cut, or possibly water jet.
good to know
Where's the bread comparison?
we dont have it on every review
No Kalamazoo? No "luxury grill" list is complete without them, imo!
Oh awesome thanks for letting us know!! Of course thank you for watching!
Kalamazoo doesn't go through dealers anymore. And it's also double the price of all the other ones on this list, and has longer lead times.
Kalamazoo shall be the top 1 brand for grill.
Man never heard of these guys until now!! Hopefully we can get one of these in to review! Thank you!
If you have the money lol stupid pricing

We can’t get our hands on one, and also they are definitely so expensive that they aren’t a realistic purchase for 99% of customers
@@embersliving makes sense! Besides their marketing I've never seen a real world review/test
This list is total bullshit without the Kalamazoo Hybrid. Hands down the top gucci grill coming in at $23k
We're trying to get ahold of one
Have you cooked on one? You are calling bullshit on Ferrari because it's not Bugatti. I was lucky enough to spend a couple of weeks at a house on one of the Finger Lakes in June with a new K750HB, starting at $23,000. It is a phenomenal grill, heavy duty, powerful burners, etc. etc. just like the others in this video. The "duel fuel" drawer is interesting. I used it with both charcoal and wood sticks in there to add some flavor to food, and it's a nice feature and does a good job, better than a smoker box. But at its core it's still a gas grill, which means that for safety it has a lot of vents. Although it has a damper on the hood, you can't control the air intake, and hence the temperature with wood or charcoal, as well as you can with a dedicated charcoal grill. You could not do a low and slow smoke on it. Bottom line? If you want the absolute best, it's hard to argue against Kalamazoo, although as far as its core function as a gas grill. it's kind of splitting hairs with the top couple of these other brands. But it's also hard to dispute that for the price of a Kalamazoo, you could buy any other luxury gas grill, with coin left over to buy a helluva nice charcoal grill, and a fine charcoal or pellet smoker - plus a half dozen Wagyu ribeye steaks and a magnum of nice Bordeaux. In my view, Kalamazoo is for the guy that wants the best of the best and cost be damned - it's a teeny-tiny slice of even the luxury grill market.
Kalamazoo grills are twice as much as these look it up
we are familiar
Kalamazoo!
We are trying!
Do not buy a fire magic echelon grill I have one they are a piece of junk they’re supposed to have a lifetime warranty but they do not
thanks for the feedback
This is amateur hour compared to a Kalamazoo.
All out of my budget, but the "Best of the best" comments are over stated.
well watch our video talking about the kalamazoo

2022 will be our year !
Someone doesn't know what "asymmetrical" means.......
True
I think this guy is way too pro-Hestan, perhaps this is the grill that offers him the most profit margin, he's pushing it too blatantly. Problem, Hestan doesn't come in 42" or even 48" and quite frankly, if you truly want THE BEST than just buy the DCS because it has all these features with a lifetime warranty and at the same or lesser price. Why isn't DCS in this review????? Cause they don't sell it.
Steve, so many things couldn’t be more wrong in what you said. #1, yes Hestan does come in a 42”, in fact the 42” is the one in the video! #2, yes we do sell DCS, this is an old video, if you watch our newer one, you will see DCS is in there. Also DCS is made in Mexico not the US, so yes it’s cheaper. Also implying that I make these videos just to deepen my own pockets is insulting.
No Kalamazoo! Should be Top Grill. Hmmm.

Yeah that is fair! Kalamazoo grills are amazing!! We love them we just don't sell them there for they don't make our top 5. Thanks for watching!
I buy everything based on reviews. Some said this was hard to put together czcams.com/users/postUgkxCx5fHawkK9OoV-ojFrY8JLnZrFwAmvUt some guy said 2 hours and 2 beers later. I didn't drink beer like I was going to. I didn't feel like going to the store. I'm assuming I would have had at least 3. I took my time. Stepped outside for a cigarette break a couple times but all in all it was about a 3 hour project for me but it wasn't like it was difficult or anything . Only pictures but everything is pretty organized and labeled although I didn't see any #s on the actual pieces like it shows in the diagrams. Only the screws were labeled. On the cardboard part of the packaging on the back side. I put it together in my living room too. It wasn't supposed to rain today but it's Michigan and I couldn't wait so I put it together in my living room. Without beer but beer would definitely have made it more fun that's for sure. I'm giving this a 5 for easy assembly. I'll update after it stops raining when I can take it out of my living room and cook some food on it. Hope this helps at least for people who think they can't put this together because I did and you can too . And there are extra screws. I got nervous and immediately came here to see if others had the same experience and they have. You're not doing it wrong. There will be extra screws. Be patient. Don't rush it. Drink beer. Happy assembling
Great choice!
