7 Speedsters of the MCU (Eternals 2021 Update)

A few things:
1. I mispronounced Evan Peters as Peter Evans. Sorry.
2. In the intro, I included a clip of Vijay Nadeer for fun, but he's not really a speedster. According to Mark Kolpack, AoS Visual Effects Supervisor, Vijay's ability is Anticipation. He can see & react to things quickly before they happen.
3. I know the canonicity of Agents of SHIELD & Jessica Jones are debatable. I don't care, they were at least considered canon for some time before Marvel Studios decided they weren't.

Since John Wesley Shipp’s Barry disappeared in Crisis (like in the comics), the door is open for Buried Alien to appear in the MCU

The idea of making Makkari a female character and casting a deaf actress is a well and awesome choice if you watch the movie you'll all see how epic she is and how well the character blends in with the actress honestly
You don't even focus on the fact that she's deaf. That's why I love Marvel.

6:49, Speed Demon is also the Amalgam of Three characters: Johnny Blaze-Ghost Rider from Marvel, Jay Garrick-Flash and Etrigan Demon (because of that, the character has a Demon head skull) from DC.
Whelp after watching the movie she is definitely the fastest character ever in mcu so far

Imagine if we had more representation with disabilities like how they made Makari deaf but not Hawke eye Hawk eye was the first person to be introduced in the MCU like all in phase 1 and they didn't even make him Deaf

In MCU this may work, but in marvel? No way. Quicksilver is way faster than you think, you probably haven't read many Quicksilver comics, in MCU he's slow but in comics he's faster than speed itself.

*In the Comics Makkari Is famous for Competing Intergalactic Marathon where Makkari defeated all the Runners with super-speed ability that includes Quicksilver, the event is for the search who is the fastest and Makkari is originally Quadrillion times faster than the speed of light and its not yet full speed. Just saying for those who didn't read the comics.* *The cinematic universe made her weaker I guess to fit and blend with other characters but they better unleash her full potential sooner.*

I don't like the idea of Makkari being deaf you're telling a race of ancient super advance people cannot cure deafness? The explaination of her being deaf is good, but it only work on regular people who got super-speed.
Maybe she was created that way by the celestials, so they physically are unable to cure the deafness, because the celestials don't want it cured. Idk, we'll have to see it explained when Eternals comes out
Well the actress is deaf so either they Fire someone because their disabled or they make her Mimick Speaking which is kinda a dick move.

It's an interesting trade off between marvel and DC. In Marvel psychic powers are well known but speedsters are not, Quicksilver by far being the most well known. While in DC there are plenty of known speedsters but hardly any psychics, Martian being the most well known I think.

The real quicksilver, played by Evan Peters, was better. Jessica Jones and the other Netflix Marvel heroes don't appear as if they're in the same universe as the Avengers; in addition, so do The Runaways, and Inhumans. They all seem to have been put aside. Especially Inhumans, for that show failed after one season.

The shows prior to Disney+ isn’t canon anymore, I searched it up and yeah… look it up yourself if you don’t believe me.
They confirmed that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is still canon since Nick Fury, Lady Sif, and Maria Hill appeared on the show.
The whizzer character in jessica jones made him a trash in the show although the character in the comics is great and fast
I've always been a fan of the golden age and the characters that started it all. Whizzer wasn't as fast as the rest but he did his thing
