Hello Enchanted ones! I hope you are all doing well! Thankyou so much for your well wishes as I had a little break :D I am very excited to celebrate yule/Christmas this year! I hope you enjoy this vlog style video, It was so fun to make :D
Recipe for Mulled Grape juice:
Grape juice
1 cinnamon stick
1 orange slice (dried or fresh)
1 star anise
Handful of cranberries
A lot of the ingredients are optional! Add what you have, the main ingredients that make it smell and taste wonderful is the cinnamon stick and the orange slice :D

Honestly this year I haven't been in the Christmas mood yet when normally I can't wait and start everything the day after Thanksgiving...Watching this video really lifted my spirits and got me in a beautiful Christmas mood!!! Thank you, Alwyn!

Your home looks so warm, cosy and welcoming. I love the colour scheme. When I was young we had a silver tinsel tree with every colour of tinsel and bauble you can imagine on it. Over the years I've tried to develop a colour scheme, but I'm so nostalgic about my childhood decorations, I've given up! Our tree is quite realistic but still has baubles and decorations of all colours, plus multi coloured lights on it and although its 'busy', I love it! Looking forward to your Yule diy's! x x x
Same, I like so many different things I find it hard to stick to a scheme so instead I just go for cosy, colourful and nostalgic
Wow, just absolutely magical! I think decorating videos & house tours are my favorite thing on youtube. I may be biased since it's similar to mine, but you have the loveliest taste in decor!! I don't really go all out for Yule (not like I do for Halloween/Samhain) but you have really inspired me to change that! This was such a treat! Thank you so much for sharing this!

I live in Sweden, where we still say Jul (Yule). We celebrate a mixture of Christian and pre-Christianity traditions. Christmas day is not the height of the holiday but rather Christmas Eve. My favorite part this time of the year is the celebration of Advent, which begins on the 4th Sunday before Christmas Eve. Usually, you have 4 candles representing the 4 Advents, in a row. You begin with lighting the first, on the first Advent. The next Sunday, you light the first and the second, etc. It's very dark this time of the year in Scandinavia, where I live we have about 6 hours between sunrise and sunset. Further north, even less. So sitting in the dark Sunday mornings, it's very cosy and nice with some candle light

I love your eye for decorating. I decorated , yes, but my two kitties won’t allow me to put up Christmas trees……as they’re quite the climbers! So for first time I put up an outdoor Christmas tree on my patio. I’m having fun with it. Many Blessings.
It was indeed a Christmas miracle tree lights that worked after a year 👍😄. Very much like your rearranging, it is interesting how the same things in a different arrangement give such a different feel..I love arches we have one I built years ago for our shop, when we moved to a new shop. When we closed the shop the arch went into our house at the entrance to the sewing room. 🎄❄️❤️🌹❄️🎩

Omg I know it was dreadful! The dark corners... the not knowing... I think what was more scary was the family of squirrels! We just weren't expecting them to be there 🤣🤣🤣
Everything looks beautiful! I love the nook, you can look out the windows and relax. I love the crows, glad you kept her up there. My goal this year is to get them to come close and eat the seed I leave for the birds. Enjoy your peaceful place. 💝
