I've seen several post online mention good things about a tooth bar or serrated cutting edge that I decided to build one. The toothbar I made is built out of mild steel and I recommend using a hardened steel or Abrasive resistant material like AR450 or Ar500.
This was made as a test to compare the performance between a smooth edge and a serrated bar. I will say that the teeth actually help grab onto material making removal of brush easier.

Yes it does. We had some rain and the brush really gets yanked out now. I am still pending the bolts that I will install mid next week.

Thanks. I've wanted one for a while but was unsure if it would work for my needs. I did try it on compacted road base material and did well.

You could treat the cutting surfaces with some hard alloy stick rods to make them last longer I think. Seems to work good.

I've been so tied up and barely noticed its been 3 weeks since upload. My plan was to add some hard facing like you mentioned. We had some rain and the brush is easily yanked if caught between the teeth for sure. I got some carriage bolts just need to install them later next week to keep the blade in place. I put about 10 hours before the blade fell off due to missing bolts. Thanks for the suggestions.
