I don't bend my bows, My first one I made today was made with a curve. I made my bow out of maple imported from Russia. For the wiring to balance the weight I use Stirling silver

I only bend bows over a flame if it's too hot to heat my workshop. Otherwise, it's easier and safer to do over the woodstove.
