I am a biology lecturer for UG NEET students... When we take a lunch or small snack break , these children come up with all packed foods and I compulsorily make them read those ingredients and follow this rule n make their parents too to read...
Trust me it's not that difficult... It all depends on our efforts and of course the control of our taste buds..
My 4 year old son has never had biscuits, chocolates and bread or any bakery products...I have made him realise how harmful it is... At the same time giving him liberty that when we go to restaurants those can be our cheat meals ...
It works
Great! Keep it up👍
I have a 4yo. I don’t give her chocolates or sugary drinks. I have educated her to pick healthy as well as tasty options rather than picking just tasty options. They need constant reinforcement but it can be done. But society as a whole don’t support this. Everywhere we go, parents load their kids with sugar and low quality chemicals.
This man has opened my eyes and I have changed a lot of my eating habits.. kudos to him...❤🎉

Living in Germany I learnt bread should only be made with 4 ingredients - wholemeal flour(fresh grounded if possible), salt, water & yeast(or sourdough starter). No preservatives. No chemicals. Thats all. You have to eat it fresh or by the 3rd day it will go bad.
Very informative vedio,u r doing such a great job.U r making people aware towards packaged food.Thank u very much for sharing this information
It's my pleasure:)
The hardest part for us is to implement this habit of reading labels as we are used to see mrp and expiry over the past years .
It will surely take time to become educated about reading the labels
This podcast is eye-opener.hope all who listen ,share with their acquaintance and make habit of reading the label! Thanking myself that i had the habit of reading the label and avoid all the junks and sauce!! Thanks a lot to both of you again to bring revolutionary thought among consumers to make healthy choices
Dear GunjanShouts,
Thanks a million for the wake-up call on packaged foods! Your chat with Foodpharma had me rethinking my relationship with snacks. Who knew my favorite munchies were hiding so many secrets? You've turned my pantry into a crime scene investigation. Keep those revelations coming - my taste buds are on high alert!

Very great content 👍 bring such more contents it will be very helpful
A very knowledgeable video.. must watch..
Glad you like it:)
Wonderful fantastic unbelievable👍
Very well presented. I have been educating friends and family for years on how to read labels. I am an intellectual property lawyer with legal awareness of regulatory label compliances and tell people how to interpret what is indicated on labels. It is surprising how much our brains are wired to blindly follow brands and thereby link brand identity with purity! However, things are changing. I stay in DLF Phase 5 in Gurgaon and there are at 5-10 chakkis within 5 km compared to a decade earlier when there were none on this side of the highway in Gurgaon!
Lovely topic
Thanks Revanth for the insight
Keep up the good work

Home made fresh biscuits with whole wheat, milk & ghee …are the best options to go with Chai ☕️

Much appreciated:)
Pls make a video on Indian Kelloggs Special K. Special K abroad which is supposed to be a whole wheat, whole grain flakes with a low sugar, just 2 gms, breakfast cereal. In the box of Indian Kelloggs Special K instead of whole wheat, oats and bran, they use rice as the first ingredient and 22 grams of sugar in a serving! of Kelloggs Special K - it's a Diabeyes and Heart Attack meal in a box. Please bring this up with Kelloggs.
Much needed content and voice 💥❤️
Great interview & is really a helpful know - - how !

Happy to note a marwari boy so conscious about packaging food industry .palm oil too scary to read on breads .
Why not? Glucon D or simple jaggery, Salt and water also can be an energy drink.
Packaged foods awareness is good but ... nobody's talking about adulteration, pesticide in vegetables, fresh food, fruits category 😢 We can avoid packaged foos....how can you Avoid fruits, vegetables, staples, cereals etc.???
Pesticides are widely used in producing food to control pests such as insects, rodents, weeds, bacteria, mold and fungus irrespective of whether you buy organic or not. Also it depends on what pesticides are being sprayed that makes it harmful and not the pesticides itself. Also you get fruits and vegetables liquids that can help remove the gunk and pesticides being sprayed so I really doubt it'll affect humans that much
@@ruchirshrikhande5584 its not only pesticides mam, chemical fertilizers too cause nutritional loss. Also the Land, soil quality in which seeds are being sowed, I mean soil is not nutrituous enough hence chemical fertilizers come in to give rapid , unnatural growth. Fruits are injected with chemicals to ripe fasrer & look fresh from outside. Also during the transport from Farm to retail shop/Sabzi Mandi...places are not hygienic...insects, rats, cockroaches are common in storage places. Cleanliness is not maintained. When we genrally eat veggies and fruits it's mostly 5-6 days old.

Really eye opening, people must aware about what they are eating.

I have stopped eating these biscuits...noodles...sweets and prefer only homecooked meals and i feel awesome 😊
"Labels are in English" is probably the most important issue raised by Revant. The governemnt should take note of this.
Suggestion.. when the guest is talking he/she shld be given a full screen this will help to concentrate on what the guest is trying to convey.. everytime they talk the host is shown nodding smiling which is more prominent and the guest is actually put on the backdrop😂😂 looks funny and kills the objective.
Thank you very much Gunjan ji

Thanks for such a valuable podcast.. what alternative is good for oatmeal in breakfast.i take oatmeal on daily basis
Most welcome. Plain, rolled or steel-cut oats are healthy, only avoid masala oats. Other alternatives include daliya, and millets. Hope this helps:)
Big companies decrease Sugar content and add maltodextrin, and other Sugar substitutes to their mix. And Consumers are back to square 1.
You guys are doing something extraordinary..
