      Thats so stupid why would they even add spikes on the boots if they didn’t even do anything at all? I thought the whole theme of this warbond was that it helps with winter climates they even zoom up on the cleats in the trailer while a helldiver runs on ice to show they are supposed to help you not slip, the constant misleading and weapon “balancing” is starting to get really annoyingđŸ€ŠđŸ»â€â™‚ïž

      Some planets just got too much fog even after spore spewers are destroyed. Can't see shit, just shooting in the distance and hoping to hit something. It's especially annoying on bot planets, shooting at wherever the lasers are flying from, I can't even see their red eyes.

    I was surprised that the winters armors didn't had any actual effect in those environments. Would have been cool to reduce not only the walking but to see better during storms. Hope they fix this, I do love this game đŸ–€đŸ–€đŸ–€

      No, it shouldn't have an additional effect because it would be pay to get a better armor. If the armor only has the environment effect, it would be useless most of the time, kinda like the arc armor.

      But then why even get the armor. I don't need 3 armors that have the same stats and effect if the only difference is the way it looks. Armor should all be different. Like how the Arc Armor has a 95% resist arc damage. At this rate I feel like I'm never going to get my fire resistance armor.

Cause right now, I would say 80% of all the armor in the game is usless cause I will always bring the same armor to bug missions and the same armor to bot missions. If the snow armor helps on cold planets, then maybe I would switch up armor depending on the planets.

      For me an armor should be useful most of the time, why should I wear one which only helps me on frost planet while I'm on the ice and there is a snowstorm at the same time. @@flashsentry1791

    I think the issue you looking for with the 177 country is, that SONY never said they "give up" on PSN for HELLDIVERS 2 . . . they only said, they WONT push it the way they planned to do it.
    "we’ve heard your feedback on the Helldivers 2 account linking update. The May 6 update, which would have required Steam and PlayStation Network account linking for new players and for current players beginning May 30, will not be moving forward. "
    The way they said it is important. My guess would be that Steam still need some assurance that we don't have the same issue 3 months from now on.
    ( Violation of TOS, refund demands etc. )

      Sony lost but won , if - just if they don't lift the restriction placed on this game game , account linking does not matter as the countries where psn is not useable , will not have access to the game , that would have happened with the forced account linking , and has now being done with sales restrictions - the horse now has a different name but for now its still the same horse , and i don't think Steam / Valve cares , they want to earn money as well - if Sony lifts restrictions , Steam T&C are the ones to follow - Steam does not do anything on their own , they get the money from Sony or the Buyer

      I’m curious, I won’t get to try it until later this week. They look kind of weak on the actual impact. I only see like 4-8 enemies getting killed by the impact incendiary in swarms not including the fire but I can get up to like 15 with a normal impact in my own games.
      Idk if that’s worth it since it causes a hazard for you too.

      @@TAYGETAnguyen No. It should follow the same logic as the Incendiary Breaker vs reg Breaker dmg difference.
      (240 dmg vs 330 dmg) - so Impact Fire Grenade's Burst dmg should be ~300 to the Impact Grenade's 400.
      It's only good for emergence holes and rare funnel points, and only against weaker bugs.

    I would love to see traits on helmets engineers or servo armor helmets could maybe see the trajectory of grenades/stratagems that you launch while aiming or one that actually put prevision lines on enemy missiles/projectiles or on screen warnings about locations or events I could see a lot of good ways that it could be implemented

      The game is indeed good, but it's just that.. good. It's fun with others, as is any game but it could just be so much better. Arrowhead's "players having fun, stop them at once" ideology and nerfing things in a PvE game is honestly getting annoying. Too much nerfing. Also, too much copy paste. Genuinely can't wait for the polls to get going again.

      It’s really not. The texture and color can be generally layered in the shading tab before exporting from the respective design software. The hardest part is designing the actual weapon and programming the mechanics. Color is maybe a 10 minute thing depending on the complexity, especially for something small like a weapon.

    Make helmets upgradeable later with the original vision of special huds, a funny in lore reason can be supply shortages so all the electronics were removed and basic faceplate glass used

    My guess on the helmets not having any stats is that they were working on it, but ran out of time before they had to launch the game, so it wasn't implimented. The probably figured they'd be able to get to it post launch.

    This game is turning into the “division” a game that was absolutely great until all the nurf of weapons and the addition of the lackluster and weak exotic weapons ie the warbonds weapons.
    - personally I would buff all the weapons back to what they were in they original state of induction to the game and slightly increase certain bug spawns.
    This game is supposed to fun and make you feel powerful with a lot of kills and big explosions.
    Maybe shorten the mission time so you just barely make it to extract, I mean there is so many things that could be added to this game to make it 100 times better and more fun.
    For example more giant bugs, that we can only kill with strategems or certain strategems. This makes the group strategically plan what they’re bringing into a mission, cause at this point people just bring what they want, with no real purpose for being the weapons that they have chosen.
    I suggested before
 but maybe add COD like pack-a-punch weapons upgrade station to upgrade weapon and it should cost you sample to upgrade your weapons, that makes the player make a decision, to either upgrade your weapons that only last during the game or upgrade your ship permanently when you spend your collected samples after the mission.

    You've got to remember that Sony is the one responsible for the Steam storefront for Helldivers. The CEO is basically saying that it took a lot of effort to get a hold of the responsible people and convince them to backtrack on the PSN linking front, so this must have ruffled some feathers and possibly strained communication, especially when you consider that Arrowhead technically has nothing to do with this topic because it's Sony's responsibility. I think it's easy to imagine people at Sony are miffed at having someone else tell them what to do or what to prioritize.

    I miss when the liberator concussive was listed as the liberator explosive. It felt great, punchy, and did a solid amount of damage. Wish they’d go back that.

    đŸ–€ at the end of the day we need better passives.
    first thing that jumps to mind is how about having ones that work like the booster modules but just for you.
    they would already have the code for the booster effect, so should be easier to apply to the armor.
    and if it could stack effects with the booster it would open up lots more combinations for nice builds.
    like double speed, radar range, recovery from slow, ammo cap(if you didn't like the mag reduction)
    or half patrol spawn for your group
    or lower evac timer if that specific player does the input to call it in.
    how about helmet passives
    for the sets that currently do:
    servo assisted -add a visible throw arc when you have a grenade or stratagem in your hand.
    scout -get mild thermal in fog/ night vision in the dark
    extra padding -resistance to headshots/limb damage
    medic -when your out of stims the nearest stim pack on the ground /supply box gets pinged automatically
    reduced recoil -screen flashes red if an enemy is sneaking up on you
    explosives resist -highlights enemies with explosive capabilities or reduces impact damage to the head from the ragdoll
    how about full set passives that on certain planet types sets with colors that compliment that terrain you get reduced detection because ....Camouflage.

    for the capes they can stay as cosmetics any bonus stats is always welcome though. On the helmets the stats/effects need to actually complement the armor set to the point its a no brainer to put the whole set on.

    I think its fine that similar weapons can have better stats however if they want to truly try to balance things like that look at little changes. Make the Lib C have less recoil, make it reload slightly faster than the new SMG. Tiny tweaks will make similar weapons perform slightly different and keep older weapons still useable.

    Helmets: poison gas resist, water breathing, night vision, laser sight when no scope, tesla turrets “try” to not shoot you, see bug body heat through smoke/spore, see electrical things (bots) through smoke, zoom further when ADS, extra accuracy, minor lock on single target, prevent some headshot, prevent some impact stun/damage, larger radar, no stamina loss on hot planets, alert when enemy behind, see samples from far, see weak spots on largest mobs, scramble sensors (smaller bot detection), use stratagems during ion storm, use stratagems from a larger distance from a jammer, slightly shorter equipment call in time, faster terminal progress bars, extra armor, very slightly more accurate eagles, banner helmet (no benefit but extra requisition)

    I'd absolutely love if different helmets got different huds. Medic based ones with pop up messages of "Teammate injured", scouts that could highlight enemies through smoke/sandstorms/blizzards, marksman with a better zoom while aiming, something that can show the projected radius of Eagle and Orbital attacks. And obviously make it a togglable thing for each one.
    Honestly some of the armors need "hidden" passives. The new warbond stuff would have been a good for "extra bonus on ice planets" type things.

    Tenderizer's color must have been a pre-release item, because they release items in patches way before it actually releases. That's how leaks are found, and hackers can spawn them in. And the release footage was done through internal servers. They just never swapped the skins.

    I hope they give all armor another pass, even if they keep the main perk types they should probably add minor perks to every armor that differentiate them more so people can run things for different playstyles. As it is unless I'm against automatons I only run engineering armor all the time. Adding a socketable slot to each armor to customize it more would be great.

    I already have a hard time mixing and matching helmets and armor in ways that are visually appealing to me without using an armor's assigned helmet. I'm not sure what I would do if each helmet had benefits and drawbacks to it

    I really think they should buff all the liberator line of weapons. They are ok, but there is always a better option. For example, the standard Liberator and the Sickle. Similar damage but less recoil and higher rpm. Even in hot environments I can fire for longer before I need to change the heatsink. I think out old starter weapons are in need of some love. đŸ–€đŸ–€đŸ–€

    I Hope they add new armour passives, it would be great having stuff like fire resistance, extra ammo pouches so your primary or support can carry more mags, faster reload time would be amazing to have an armour for or like what was mentioned in this vid about the winter armour being able to hold you steady on ice or traverse snowy environments better. Really just want some more variety with the armour abilities

    In my opinion smg's should have 5 magazines but much larger magazine capacity. This would give them the ammo to fight longer but the lower magazine count would push the importance of its more closer mid range combat and not just something you spray and pray but rather something to be more specialized in a certain range of combat.

    if I'm being honest I like the concussive rounds but they don't deal enough damage to make it worth taking as a primary weapon not unless u plan on having someone close at all times that can actually kill targets decently fast or they the concussive rounds get given a sort of small area effect on hit

    Personally, I'm ok with helmets and capes being cosmetic only, I'd love to see more armor passives though.
    Example: environmental effect negation; resistance to specific types of damage (fire, impact, etc); extra mags for your primary and/or secondary; etc.

    Capes should have each have a unique buff... Just not anything clearly useful. They should have descriptions like "10% More Democracy", "2x Freedom", "$1.00 Off On Liber-tea." It would be nice to see a difference in cape attributes without any difference in play style. đŸ–€

    We were having a similar conversation between my friends playing this that wouldn't it be cool to have helmets that have night vision and combine with smoke grenades and smoke strategem this can be fun. Heat detection ability on frozen planets is another possibility đŸ–€

    I think they were not able to get armor, weapons and their corresponding skills/ traits done before having to ship - as per a deadline from the distributors. So those things were half baked when it came out. Now they are in "live production" but they still have those things in "QA Development" which is not being prioritized due to "live service". In my opinion, they have to do a complete overhaul of the entire armor & weapon list and they know it - so it's now a question of available resources, time and will the game have to be taken offline for a time to implement it. Coming from a development background - this makes the most sense đŸ–€đŸ–€đŸ–€

    Would love to see color variations, specifically the ability to purchase paints with requisition slips so i can customise my armour.
    Hell why not go full haul and allow us to have symbols and paints like the old halo (and many others) used to do.

    It really seems like Arrowhead was already working on alot of the ideas that we want in the game. But with Sony being the publisher and pushing a hard release date, they probably didnt have time to release the game with all of the features they wanted on armor, helmets etc

    About getting Helldivers 2 being taking off Steam in certain counties, there's a good chance that Valve were actually the ones to pull the game not Sony or Arrowhead during the craziness. There were rumblings about a potential lawsuit being filed and Valve would not want to be caught as a third party in that AT ALL so they probably did it preemptively and now will need to be reassured about it by Sony and Arrowhead that they won't get sued.

    Obviously armor bonuses for Helmets & capes would be huge, but how about some armor bonuses besides reskins of the same 4 or 5 armor sets? Perhaps fire or acid resistance, faster reload or addition ammo capacity. Does anyone use servo assisted, and why doesn't this pair with +2 grenade?!? I just can't follow the logic here...

    Color Change for your capes, armors and helmets would be great. Not that you can change it to pitch black bc why even designing different armors in the first place then. But different color options for each armor and oc the idea of changing perks like every armor comes with like 3 different sets of perks you can alter when you start a mission to get an advantage but not like overpowered stuff you can play in each and every mission but you can play in more missions than just like 2 or 3, yk.

    Some easy bonuses for helmets off my dome (see what I did there? đŸ–€đŸ–€đŸ–€)
    Extra Padding: Lowers the chance for taking added damage with head injuries (-15% head dmg)
    See-All Visor Treatment: Makes Stalkers a bit more visible (maybe like they used to be pre-buff)
    Cross-hair Connct: Gives a small buff to aiming (maybe a 5% better stability)
    Eagle Sense: Gives a small buff to finding Points-of-Interest either in compass or map (10-15m?)
    Range Extend: Gives a small buff to weapon distance when in scope mode (5 meters?)

    i do agree about the armor perk on the new warbond. there are many ice planets and the warbond is called POLAR PATRIOT, why couldnt we get ice related perks. đŸ–€
