- This week's guest is the 2002 125 west supercross champion and former factory Honda rider, Travis Preston. He's best known for his genuine personality during interviews on the podium, but Travis is an interesting guy no matter where he is.

this has been one of the most non-BS WT shows....so genuine in every respect, thank youTravis, and thank you David....Truly a joy...stay real
Be so cool to have Kevin windham on
"I got black flagged for cutting the whoops cuz I got tired. I started riding on the speedway and somebody caught on to that" I almost spit my coffee out from laughing so hard at that line.
Really like how deep you got into the marriage which turned into great life advice. We need more of this
Awesome this video came out on the 20 year anniversary of his first A1 win.
One of the rare and few, OG and real, 100%.
This show Rocks‼️ 🤜🏻Anxiously waiting for The Hurricane, Trampas Parker, Brad Lackey and Bobby Moore episodes🤞🏻🤞🏻
Listened all the way through. Good episode, good dude. Thanks guys!
Hell Yeah! The "other" Travis. Miss this dude's track side interviews, they were the best.
Hey Ping, The place you and Travis were talking about riding in Jersey was in Chatsworth Nj, And was called ORMVP Off Road Motor Vehicle Park. Jason Lawrence is from Estelle Manor Nj not to far from that riding spot. I believe that park has since closed for many years now, And yes Jersey is humid AF like Florida haha. You’re doing a great job with the interviews and pulling the best info and funny stories outta the guests. So cool to hear all the back stories of races, team changes, race stats and the daily going on’s of the Guys from Back in the day. Keep up the great work you’re doing. Oh and the Damon Bradshaw show was killer. Thanks.
Think I got kicked outta there with like 25 other guys on thanksgiving day back in 99 or 2000 the cops showed up they were cool though just made us leave and told us not to come back. It was like fire roads that led to different sand pits and all or most of the trails getting to the pits were super whooped out it was fun as hell but cold. Lol love the show dude
I remember Preston practicing at competitive edge in the high desert and he would scream at guys to get out of the way on the track lol. I was just an 85 rider at the time, good memories!
Hey guys when are you going to have Justin Barcia on your show ? Awesome show as always, thanks Ping
Great interview.👍🏾
Presto! I’m the guy who told Davey Coombs to call him that and then Travis won the next week and Davey did! LOL Good to see you Presto!!
For years dudes referred to the “engine” as the “motor” in their dirt bikes.. and there was always that one dude .. “it’s not a motor!”
Mitch when talking about the electric bike said “it could run a smaller engine” .. just sit’n here waiting for that dude to show up “it’s not an engine!”
Travis is legit..thanks Ping101
I love Mitch. Hearing his story on a podcast that disabled him made me cry
@@EarthSurferUSA hah
I remember being in chaparral buying some parts and you just won the championship and made the cover of cycle news
CAREFUL...2:52:40 Preston and Ping say" the problem is mtn bikes are easy to ride, any dummy can ride a mountain bike". That may be true in CA, come to the northeast/Boston and we'll see who's the dummy !. Wait, maybe its me? I've ridden and rared both sports for over 40 years and most of my injuries are from pedaling. Great work Ping, love your show.
Ping these are the type of shows u Excel at, great interview skills
That said let's leave the tech vids to Mike Lindsay sorry kinda got a man crush on that dude 😂 much respect to both of you though
I seen Tomac at south wick when he was on the Honda 250
The corner where they kept the dog house for JYD was a up hill left hand 180 turn was he was catching air off a braking bump at the beginning of the corner whipping the bike sideways in the air so the tires never touched the ground threw the apex of the corner, handle bar touching the sand throttle wide open soon those tires hit berm wall clutch out ,gone! He won that day!!
Such a shame cameras didn't get it. I've always wondered if he remembers it. I would think so, one most insane things I've ever seen!!!!!!!!
I know most are probably like what this have to do with Preston when he started talking about tomac and ferandis made me think of this
We all live

Awesome Show!
Please bring back david, today’s announcers suck arse!
James Stewart himself said on his pod cast Travis was a fast dude and was hard to beat ....
