A tip for fellow motorcycle adventurers. There are often glass cutting companies in towns or cities where you can just cut out a cardboard or paper outline of your mirror and they will cut you a new one which you just glue over the top of the broken one using a suitable glass glue which they will usually stock or often can even do it for you. Cheap and fast solution when OEM replacements are not available.
I envision Alaska with layers and layers and layers of glued on cut outs!!

I used to live in Elsa, my father who is now retired worked for the United Keno Hill Mines from 1971 until 2001 and my family and traveled to Keno often and visited the snack bar. And the guy you interviewed was once my babysitter. Hey Mike!
A very brave and professional young lady...alone in the middle of the Yukon territory never ceases to amaze us with her videos. Simply outstanding.
Canada is pretty safe, When you go to the rural areas its even safer. The only thing that would harm her is wild animals.

@@davidmarshall718lol. Completely safe driving around the southwestern US. Millions of people do it every year without problems. The place is really dangerous was driving in a city like Chicago where 40 people shot yesterday or places in South America, where they routinely hold up tourists to shake them down or kidnap them.
The snowmobile in the museum on this video is an early Polaris 1960's Sno Traveler. Very few remain today. back around 2004 ish I had an old guy come into my welding shop in northern Minnesota to have a garden hoe made. He had an idea of a specific design and was pretty finicky about it. After making this tool for him he kept coming back a few times a week for coffee and chat with us. Turns out he was one of the founders of the Polaris company and the Sno Traveler was his baby back then. He shared lots of great stories with us over the years we were lucky to spend with him. RIP David Johnson .... and thank you for sharing with us ... I hope the new garden is as beautiful as the one you had here....

I've watched all those Discovery channel shows. None of them would hold a candle to our Itchy Boots, and in the U.S., she would leave the competition far behind. She'd blast to the top of the ratings and she would stay there.
There is no contrived or fostered danger. She drops or sticks that bike in places most won't walk, all the time. She's gotten FAR too close to grizzly bears in the Alaska/ Canada outback. She got FAR too close to cartels in Central America and Mexico.
She's inspiring. (Just look at K.Long's post below )
She's as good of a producer as any on television and manages to do that on the road and on her own.
It's one of the most compelling shows ever. You always want to see if she makes it past this, thru that...and she always does with a cheery laugh and a smile.
I honestly can't imagine why this has not been snatched up by the big guys. They would try to ruin it, but our Noraly has the unstoppable power of being smart, tough, and just plain fun to watch. That's worth more than two Ace cards in the hole...
P.S. NEVER lose that intro music! It's instantly recognizable.
I love that no matter how big or small the town; you ride every road, visit every historic spot, visit with local folks, dine at quaint little places and can recite all the history as you are riding along in slippery mud. Then you put it all together in a video that is just the right length for watching in a nice quiet moment here at home. Thanks for doing such a tremendous job documenting your travels.

Yep, breakfast at Tim Horton's is as Canadian as it gets! A lot of people think the coffee tastes "burnt"... but I think it's light years better than Starbuck's.
The Yukon, like so much of Canada's northern reaches, is distinctly beautiful in it's vast wilderness. Perhaps another time you can try riding Canada from coast to coast. There is so much to see...

I was surprised by Keno. Things looked initially ramshackle and, well, unkempt. But it was actually friendly and interesting. The guy at the restaurant actually offered to make a sandwich without hesitation. And that museum was great.

Well it's rural Canada not rural USA. They aren't stockpiling guns and eager to shoot strangers or introduce you to their nazi cousin.
I cannot imagine what it would take to get one of the buses/motorhomes repaired should they have a breakdown !!! Yikes~repair parts would take months to arrive ~
I rode the ALCAN Highway in 1975 on a CB500 twin, and your stop in Whitehorse reminded me of the trip, but so much of the road was unpaved then that you would have loved that. I remember being excited that I actually saw pavement, disappointed when it disappeared so soon as I left town headed to Alaska and Kodiak Island. It was a very difficult ride and the risks are what I remember in retrospect. The mosquitoes were awful, so I tried not to stop too much either. As I watch, I shake my head in wonder at the effort you are putting into sharing this and the beauty I am now reminded of in that awesome part of the world. It's a memory no one can take away from me, and I am appreciative of the way you are revealing the majesty of that stretch of the highway and the feelings it awakens in my heart. I went from Minneapolis to Kodiak and back in three weeks. Not enough time in there to appreciate all you are revealing, and that is what makes this part of your journey so compelling to me. It's a vicarious ride down Memory Lane. Thank you.
Loved this video, I am from Nova Scotia, Canada but I lived in Whitehorse for 7 yrs. and traveled all around the North with the Northwestel Comm. You brought back some great memories. I am also a biker so needless to say I loved how you handed the backroads.

The best thing about double take mirrors is that you can fold them down when you go offroad. You have to remember to do that though. lol

Tim Horton was a legendary Canadian Ice hockey player who did 22 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL for short, it is the highest level of hockey). In the 1960's, he started opening donut shops around Toronto which bear his name. He was killed in a single vehicle car accident in the 1970's, the fast-food shops he founded now exist everywhere across Canada.

Drone Eyes show us most magnificent views of the Yukon landscape and the background music makes it all the more dramatic - WOW !! This has come to be the signature cinematography of Itchy Boots. Wonderful !! And the ride takes us to remotest of places one can imagine, meeting local people and learning about their way of life makes the vlogs very interesting. Carry on Noraly, way to go !!!

Yesterday I finally got caught up on all your videos, what a journey it has been, many a time I am on the edge of my seat amazed at how many close calls you have, always with a smile and giggle, it was nice binging all your content but now I am left waiting, like everyone else in full anticipation of where we are going next. If you have not received awards for your cinematography you should be at the front of the list of creators making some amazing content that is educational in a way that goes beyond the classroom. I truly have enjoyed being emersed in all these amazing cultures. People have been so kind and generous, it has really renewed my spirit and expectations for the future.
Well done, Noraly! I am with the guy who said he was just tired. You have to be really motivated to keep on going in the cold, the rain and the mud. Thank you for cranking out these excellent videos and for pressing on and showing us so many interesting things that tourists would just pass by.

We are from Nova Scotia. Our Daughter is an Engineer in The Yukon. Her work takes Her to various mining sites and She has mentioned Mayo and Keno . We have been up to Whitehorse where She is based out of a few times but not that far north yet. Thanks for taking Us along for the ride.

The reason those RV 's pull their cars behind is because once they arrive at an RV site, they need a vehicle to tour the area. Because you cover such huge distances in the US and Canada, a second vehicle is an asset once you arrive at your destination and park your RV. If you need to leave the site for touring or shopping, your RV holds your spot on the site. Happy travels Noraly. đ
@@robzilla69 I think it's more the size of the thing, motor home are huge in North America, would neven fit in many city in Europe, being on the road she does that for years, but with only few thing, it's more the concept of caring your entire house that blows her mind ;-)

That tow behind car is valuable when your rv decides to lose it's transmission 45 miles west of Tok on the Tok cutoff. It let me drive home while the RV spent a month in Tok getting a new transmission installed...The Alcan, and remote Highways of northern Canada and Alaska are terrible and can eat an RV...

When I see the aerial views of the Yukon it is very comforting - so much undisturbed country - vast and beautiful.
I used to be annoyed by the big motor homes on the road, especially when I lived in Alaska where many of them end up going to. I then discovered that a lot of retired people are selling their homes and living on the road! When you pass one of those rigs you are passing their entire homestead. That gave me a different perspective on motor homes!
And it's great to see Americans enjoying their freedom!
And no property tax, which is quite onerous in some places. I wonder if Tennessee has lower vehicle registration costs, as Noraly mentioned two Tennessee-plated buses in a row. [Edit: Another commenter said these buses were part of an organized tour (evidenced by a yellow sticker on the bus), so maybe that's what the Tennessee licence plates were about.]

Nice thought but not practical , A home is an investment where a motorhome is a money pit . most people I know who bought $200,000 plus motor homes were constantly pouring money into repairs after a year or so .
I am assuming Noraly is concerned about the 'madness' of these motorhomes' carbon footprint. Consider these motorhomes will not equal the amount of metric tons of Co2 in their lifetime that a jet plane will emit flying a motorcycle crate from England to South America. ItchyBoots = unsubscribed
From the comfort of my armchair, it's thrilling to see the Yukon landscape. The aerial views of the motorcycle moving through the vast wilderness is breathtaking and has me thinking how different my riding life is. Watching the video I can help but think how our choices affect our experience. The "simplicity" of the riding life you embrace is both attractive and unattainable for me. So I'm grateful to live the life vicariously through each of your episodes.

Love your take on the giant RV's. As my father used to tell us when we were kids, "That's what you call getting away from it all by taking it all with you!" Ride safe, and while I can't wait to see how this part of your global adventures closes out, I am at the same time sorry to see it come close to an end. When I retired in 1991 I traveled to all 50 states and Canada in a RV (bus) towing my Jeep. I would park my RV and use the Jeep to explore. It was my home for 5 years. I wish I still could. I enjoy watching your adventures.
Did you have to disconnect the Jeep's driveshaft? If so, was that difficult. Just wondering why they don't use trailers.
@@sid7088 a Jeep (wrangler)requires that that it be placed in neutral. I did not use a trailer as that is just more cost in license fees.
This is so good. You are a very likeable person and your interactions with the locals are always nice to see. Iâd love to visit Canada one day, then Alaska, so watching this only heightens my resolve to get there.

As an Ecuadorian-Canadian, I was so impressed that you had eaten plantains while in Ecuador and, many many kilometres later, you had a bagel and coffee at Tim Hortons in Canada, all by riding a motorcycle imported from the Netherlands. WoW
Itâs good she tried our plantains in Ecuador, they are delicious! Also our bagels and coffee from Tim Hortons. I love them! She really enjoyed her trip all over Ecuador. Our country has many wonderfully places to visitđ

Another lovely and beautifully scenic video. RVs towing a vehicle may appear odd, but is actually very practical. They can park their RV for longer periods, and the RVers can still get around for short trips or getting supplies.
Because we can, Americans love having their home away from home with them. Many live on the road so it is their living house, wherever they go. Love have decent content. More rare these days and we love your positive attitude as well.

I diamond drilled for 3 summers on Birmingham mountain right by Elsa, for Boart Longyear. Our client was Alexeco, and we drilled the pilot hole on the side of the mountain for the portal to the mine. The mineral was Silver.

Itâs so much fun to stop at little eateries, especially one with a friendly dog. My last trip to Colorado, I took 50 through Kansas and Colorado to the Western Slope instead of 70. It was so much fun and a more relaxing/enjoyable way to travel. I ate yummier food and met locals instead of mega truck stops with tons of people. Safe Travels.
Keno City Snack Bar is easily in the top ten of of fascinating eating places of Itchy Boots, and that's really saying something.

I had an uncle who served > 35 years in the US Navy. I remember visiting him after he retired when I was only 16 years old. I naively asked him "Uncle Charles, where in the world have you set foot in all the years you spent in the Navy?" He laughed at my question and grabbing a large globe said "It would be a lot easier to show you the countries I HAVEN'T stepped foot, kid! There are only a handful of places I haven't visited." "Wow, that's amazing!" I responded. "Of all those places, which was your favorite? Which place did you most enjoy?" Uncle Charlie answered "There are a lot of beautiful places in this world, but of all the countries and regions I've seen and spent time, The Yukon is the most majestic and the one place I'd most want to live. It's pristine!" That was almost 40 years ago and those words have stuck with me to this day. Another amazing video, Noraly!
So fun to watch Noraly. One of my favorite things about her is her positive attitude. There will always be setbacks & difficulties when riding so far, but Noraly keeps smiling and embracing the dayđŻđŠŸđČđ
It's amazing some of the unusual places you find in the little towns and boroughs and all the people you meet seem very nice and accommodating. I find it fascinating and I learn something new every episode. It's so cool.

Spectacular drone footage once again. The shots along the Silver Trail in "follow me" mode were awesome. It appeared to be raining and the drone was picking up the rainbow across the lower left made it unforgettable.

I sometimes feel sad because my son never could do that. He never had a bike with training wheels, but he got one of the first bike without pedals. He raced away from us any time.... đ
With such a tiny population of only 24 the kid probably has few playmates so has to make his own entertainment.
@@Pesmog That's right, but even if there are more kids around doing this is fun for all. I still remember when my kid was at that age. He didn't had those training wheels on his bike, but others did. So he was as dirty as the others were.... đ
