MK does not have a theatre mode or a player initiated save system. These videos may save some time if you want to view a specific point in the story mode again instead of starting over from scratch.
In-game cutscenes from the actual game look better than these videos indicate. These videos were re-encoded and edited so that the movies could be joined together and as a result caused some blurring effects during the video conversion.

Kuai Liang is the more merciful Sub Zero. Bi Han would had shattered his opponents to pieces after freezing them and not allow them to slowly thaw out.

That is true, but I really would like to see his cyber version in games to come, he was really cool. As everyone know, fighting games have bonus characters that are not implemented in the story and only get alternate arcade endings so it is totally possible to have cyber sub zero and his human form like now, and even smoke's.

Hydro was suppose to be the blue cyber-ninja of the Lin Kuei Clan, but they were unable to find a way to use him in the 2011 Mortal Kombat game.

Seeing as most of the major characters are dead, they'll probably find some way to resurrect them. Sub-Zero will probably be a ninja again, and Cyber will probably be either unlockable or DLC

I love how the story seems so solid in this game. All the others in some point contradicted one eachother, leaving in doubt what was canon and what wasn't. IN MK9 it stays very clear. I hope they take the same care at the next games.
