You will get more time with the dolphins if you set off early (5:30 AM) near Pamilacan island. You might even get to see whales and mantas depending on the season. Those pumpboat engines can give you hearing damage. You can improvise earplugs using tissue paper.

We were here last January 29. Beware of the bankeros na dadalhin ka sa maling site for snorkeling. Yung pinagdalhan sa amin na snorkeling site is not the one shown in this video. Yung pinuntahan niyo po sir JM ay yung official snorkeling site (May tourism desk, naka-uniform yung mga snorkeling guide, and marami kang kasabay na bangka). Samantalang yung pinagdalhan sa amin, kumbaga, in lay man's term "colorum" (Isang bangka lang ang nakasabay namin to snorkel, walang tourism desk. Magbabayad ka lang kung kanino doon, yung guide namin ang babata at ang liliit ng katawan, and the worst part is: super lakas ng alon doon sa pinagdalhan sa amin ) Napaka-traumatic ng experience dahil muntik nang maaksidente father ko nung bumaba siya sa bangka to snorkel dahil sa lakas ng alon, humahampas na sa kanya yung bangka. And I mentioned earlier na ang babata and ang liliit ng guide kaya wala din sila magawa to help my father. Ang ending, nagkaroon siya ng sugat sa binti dahil nagpaikot ikot siya sa mga bato sa dagat dahil sa lakas ng hampas ng alon.
And it did not stop there. Yung mother ko, she just stayed in the bangka the whole time, hindi siya nag-snorkel. And nung umahon na kami sa pampang, pabalik na kami sa parang kubo nila kasi tapos na. Biglang inabot sa amin nung guide namin yung snorkeling device, yung glass na basag. Yun daw yung gamit ng mother ko, naapakan niya daw pagbaba. Tapos ang sabi pa nung isang guide nakita niya daw na naapakan ng mother ko, e he was not near the bangka that time. And mararamdaman naman ng mother ko kung may naapakan siya na nabasag, di ba. So they had us pay additional 500 for that.
When I rewatched this vlog of yours, sir JM, I became certain na naloko talaga kami. Dahil ibang iba yung lugar na pinagdalhan sa amin. Nakakapang-hinayang lang kasi we were looking forward for this activity, dahil sobrang enjoy mo panoorin while snorkeling. Kaso hindi namin siya nagawa and naenjoy. 😥 I hope wala na sila mabiktima na iba. Just sharing my experience for those who plan to go snorkeling sa Balicasag na may gantong mga modus sila. Take note na lang na red flag agad siya kapag napansin niyong ang dami niyong kasabay sa dolphin watching, tapos pagdating sa snorkeling in balicasag, they are not there. It means iba ang pinagdalhan sa inyo. I'm sorry, ang haba ng comment ko. Ingat!

That’s one thing I noticed. Most of the prices went up. We went to Boracay last month we noticed that everything went up. Lots of people now are going to Thailand because they get more bang for their buck.

Went there nung Sept, mejo pricey talaga food sa Balicasag, rented a Gopro Hero 10 from RedGypsy and its only P600 for the whole day na.
Alam mo kuya nung nakita ko videos mo napa isip kami ng husband ko to spend our wedding anniv in Bohol kasi nakita namin sa videos mo ang smooth, tsaka honest reviews. Na contact ko rin ang driver mo sa countryside tour😊 big help ka po kuya Godbless po🤗

sa true lang, pang world class talaga ang beaches natin kaya i hope maalagaan natin ng mabuti ang ating islands. also, sana matutukan talaga yung mga businesses na nagoovercharge. may mga cases ng nareport sa Bohol na ganun yung nangyayari so hopefully, maaddress nila yung issue before maturn off ang mga tourists na pumunta sa Bohol.
To me, isa sa basis ko to say na overpriced ang isang tourist destination ay sa singil ng mga tricycle drivers. Doon ko napupuri ang El Nido, Palawan. Kasi regulated ang transportation fee. Hindi dahil traveller ka, tatagain ka sa presyo. Just sharing :)
@@Malanela That's true po. Davao also, nasunod sila sa tamang presyohan ng public transpo nila. Share ko na din lang yung experience naming family when we went to Davao a long time ago. Nahatid kami ni taxi driver sa maling branch ng hotel and what he did was something na kind of impossible na maexperience ko dito sa Manila. Nagsorry sya samin and hinatid kami sa tamang hotel branch without charge. Pagkakamali daw nya yun so hindi daw sya dapat bayaran. Kami naman, nagiinsist na bayaran sya dahil syempre gusto naming bayaran yung time, effort and gas ni Kuya. Tsaka naiintindihan naman namin na talagang minsan, nagkakamali tayo kahit hindi naman natin sinasadya. In the end, nirefuse pa rin niya na bayaran namin siya. Not saying na dapat lahat ng drivers ganito pero naappreciate namin si Kuya driver. Bihirang bihira na lang yang mga ganyang drivers ngayon.

Ang ganda nga sa Virgin Island, nakaka mesmerize tingnan sa video mo, what more pa kaya jan sa personal. And the dolphins are so majestic and a wonderful sight to see. Baka maiyak ako pag nakita ko yung super daming dolphins na nag lalangoy sa dagat. And ang cool tingnan nung pawikan, sobrang upclose. naalala ko si Dudeeee sa Finding Nemo haha di ko sure if yun name nya basta si pagong dun. =))

In hawaii there is a place sanctuary to snorkel with the turtles but u cannot touch them and if the turtle also touches you you are fined 1000th dollars even though its not your fault thats how they protect the turtles you have to maintain distance and no touching

Just went in Bohol, Joiner aq for Island Hopping I only paid 500 for seat fee and aq lng pinay sa bangka namin😅kapressure. I joined thru Bohol Tipid Trips fb page - seat fee lng cla, so you need to pay for entrances/vest and snorkeling fees, which was 450 all in all

A 2nd hand GoPro is a very good option. Anything that does 1080P 60 is good enough. Just get an aftermarket dive housing to protect it if it is just for snorkeling, no need to get a GoPro Super Suit if you are not diving. You should consider diving if you enjoy snorkeling. 😁

@@JmBanquicio It is a safe sport if you get properly trained and just follow the rules. What you see in snorkeling is not even 10% of what you will see diving. It is also the closest thing you can come to flying. We have several of the top diving destinations in Asia, if not the world.
