I believe the folks who give this a thumbs down are just jealous of the collection. They stupidly assume that this man does not use his equipment because its on shelves. I say this is a wonderful collection and I hope your well and enjoying it to the highest degree ! Negativity has no place here. Bless.
William Manganaro isn’t it possible that lots of people consider the silver ones as low quality and old compared to the world of good blackies from the 80, 90, 2000.....ok stop there were no good vintage not overprized stereo systems in the 21th century :-)

Impressive collection. I had used a Marantz 1090 amp in 1979 for a few weeks and found it an excellent component. I did have a Marantz 2252B receiver for a few years and it had a lotta muscle to drive my speakers to lease breaking levels, with enough output to impress, if not annoy the neighbors. Very nice video, indeed.

Antigamente quando eu ouvia essa musica eu chorava mesmo sem conhecer a sua tradução! Era um prazer descomunal ouvir essa musica. Depois de ouvir por tantas vezes passei a perceber que não me emocionava mais como antes, através dessa experiencia aprendi que música é como comida, se você comer demais pode acabar enjoando. Depois dessa experiencia e para não correr o risco de acontecer de novo com outra música que eu goste, me livrei de todos os discos ou CDs que eu tinha, passei só a ouvir rádio e quando toca no radio uma música que eu gosto a felicidade é dobrada, desse jeito não corro o risco de matar mais uma preciosidade como fiz um dia. Possuo o Marantz 1090 em perfeitas condições. Fabricado em 1977 no Japão. O som continua o mesmo de extrema qualidade e potência, com belíssimos graves e agudos limpos. Um equipamento de excelência. Ver sua coleção dá um pouco de inveja boa, para alguns reel to reel e k7s. Um grande abraço, bons sons.

I'm amazed, I thought I had a lot of hi fi's! I must have 15 or so, I have them up in the loft out of the way. I have two in the living room. I had one of those marantz amplifiers like you have the thin one with the three equalisers on it.

Very nice 👍 but what exactly do you do with so much equipment? If you don’t use each one of them periodically they are sure to degrade with time. Do you just collect or do you sell these equipment’s also? Each one looks neat and very nicely stored 👍👍
Few years ago, I was at a party. The music was played by a computer, and an amplifier. At once, a girl wanted the music to play lower, and she was desperately working with the mouse, in the computer's menu, to find that little "button"... She didn't know anything about that big volume knob placed in the front middle of the amplifier. She was completely ignoring it...

Words can’t explain how I feel looking at stereo equipment from when I was in my youth.
A good hobby, I once had over 40 devices but now 5 stereo systems the best No Hi-end and I'm satisfied !!!After a few years you have to fix everything
