I adored Hay on Wye too when I went this year. I kept saying that I was so happy! It was incredible to be somewhere with so many bookworms around me. My favourite speaker at the festival was Jeanette Winterson. She is a fantastic orator!
I discovered an amazing campsite called Raquety Farm which is above the village.

The Hay Cinema Bookshop is amazing - spent hours in there when I visited earlier this year. Great video!

Wigtown in Scotland is a great booktown too, they do a book festival every year also, a little more lowkey than Hay but still fun!
