Never would I have thought that somebody would react to this song. I personally don’t know anyone who knows it either. It’s probably my favourite Nazareth song.
I am very familiar with this song. Have been a fan of the band for over 40 years and have all their albums. Still miss Dan McCafferty's raspy voice. Carl Sentance is good but he is not a McCafferty!
Very familiar with this song! Definitely there best ballad!
One of my favorites! This is my favorite band of all time ❤ RIP Dan 😢
You're not alone! Nazareth was quite popular in Canada, so lots of their music was on the radio. They were pretty big even in my highschool (not far from Toronto), so lots of fans of this one.
Canadian here, 🇨🇦 these guys were massively popular and I was lucky enough to see them live. MORE PLEASE ❤
Yup, caught them at the Civic Center (Expect No Mercy Tour) and later at Barrymore's.
Me too, saw them many times live in Canada. They were very big here in Canada, they enjoyed playing here. I was lucky enough to meet them in Halifax.
Nazareth has always been my favorite band. RIP Dan, Darrell and Manny.
Daniel McCafferty the lead singer of nazareth died on 8th of November this year, really a shame as he was a legendary frontman for this group that had influenced a lot of classic rock bands, also a shame his death has barely been reported by the media.
You can hear his music forever. Gone but not.
I didnt know this 😢 RIP…. Loved this band ❤
Dan's vocals on this song........ chef's kiss 😘😘😘
This is my all time favourite Nazareth song....
One of Nazareth's most beautiful songs. The vocals and guitar work are spectacular. A Scottish band who had a huge following in Canada. " This Flight Tonight", one of their biggest hits was written by Joni Mitchell. Great reaction
Harri.Thanks Harri and KD KITCHEN.
Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
NOVEMBER 6TH, 1974, MY FIRST DATE WITH MY FUTURE WIFE, I PLAYED THIS FOR HER..I AM STILL IN LOVE WITH HER..TY FOR THIS SONG.
I love Nazareth and this is a great song.
Now you can listen another beautiful song by them: Loved and Lost, from the same album (the whole album is great by the way).
Nazareth has a bunch of great ballads. Moonlight Eyes, Hearts Grown Cold are two excellent ones.
Loved this Album. Nazareth was huge in Canada.
Great reaction Harri... Happy you and your audience enjoyed it. Nazareth has a lot of super ballads! 🇨🇦
NAZARETH Rampant álbum COOL
Great now play, may the sun shine.
Another great song
Hi...not sure if you will ever see this late comment but Nazareth also does a different song called "May the Sunshine" and even though this is a great song May the Sunshine might even be better. It's a short, catchy, groover that rocks with a super tasty guitar hook.
Great Song Power melodias
Dan McCarthy was a great singer. RIP.
this is special too me my mom rip momma
Memories!!
If you like this one, you should check out the song "Butterfly" by them.
The guitar solo is amazing!
Nice one KD. I think I like your soft side. ✌
It's a beautiful song 🎵, I love listening 🎶 to your opinion Harri being a musician yourself
What a beautiful song. Great reaction Harri!
Great song. I wore the album out back in the day. Request Supertramp Downstream to keep the 70’s ballad groove going.
One of the greatest bands of all time with one of the most talented and versatile singers we'll ever hear. Probably best known for their softer stuff but these lads will knock you right outta your boots.
There be gold in them there hills 👌
RIP Dan 🕯🕯
Love this song!
Trust me on this, you'll love *"Child In The Sun"* a beauty ballad (power ballad?)
I have fond memories connected with their songs Hair of the Dog and Love Hurts ... 1975 was an interesting year for break out artist, songs, and albums. Patti Smith, Parliament, Eagles, Donna Summers, Queen, to Bob Marley & the Wailers. No Woman No Cry, Bohemian Rhapsody, Born to Run, Life in the Fast Lane, 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover, Love to Love You Baby
I loved this album also.I could never find it back in the day so I recorded it from album borrowed from a friend to cassette. Its called Rampant and it is just probably the most underrated album ever.
Beautiful song 💕 Canada
Friend, in this version the final solo is incomplete, listen to the version with the complete solo, you'll have a blast.
Super DAn McCafferty
Great pick, from a great band! Cheers
Awesome reaction theres not a lot of reactions to this song unfortunately
Next,... do "Dream On",..... Great stuff.
Then after that play, child in the sun.
groovy man
Nazareth was my favourite band when I was in grade 10. I had all 16 albums that were out at that time.
I still go back to their old catalogue regularly. What a surprise you reacted to this song!
