in terms of network speed as BSNL is still stuck in 3G in some areas still whereas JIO airtel have 5G coverage all over the areas. except rural or some village areas mostly.

I am from garia Kolkata I am using bsnl prepaid sim since 2020.I brought it during COVID.I am getting good 3g connectivity till now.i can play 1440p vedio in CZcams.From June it support 4g volte in my area.but not everywhere. I talked with bsnl and they said company is deploying more indigenous 4g site and it will fixed soon.I am using my bsnl with HMD nokia phone. Bsnl Recharge plan is affordable you can port into bsnl. Maine jab airtel ka new sim buy kiya toh mere saath bhi same cheeze hui... took 3 days but network not activated then i went to the same shop and he then recharged then and there again and i was confused what.. why wait till now? so after the recharge still my calling vagera and services weren't activated so overal mera experience airtel ke saath same tha jo bsnl ke saath aapne iss video mein dikhaya!

I already have a BSNL sim and I want the 5G ready sim, what to do?
BSNL didn't work when payment via UPI due to signal issues. When it's in 4g its ok, when it goes Edge, there is no incoming or outgoing of data. It's better to use BSNL as a secondary sim. nPerf speed test website covered good amount of spread in network availability in India. See the available places for 4g, if you are in it, you are lucky.
