I've been here! I had that same dentist! Same people on reception and also lifts to and from my hotel. I went on my own from the UK. Brilliant experience. Excellent results and no issues since. I had veneers and implants.

You should do more research want can and most likely will happen if you get your teeth filed down to "spikes".
Already had it done. January. I've had 0 issues, apart from the sensitivity I had after lasting longer than expected
I am still with my current dentist and go regularly. Can't complain. Other than that, I drink tea and coffee with a straw now to avoid staining.
