How long does it take to get used to piloting that much gear around?
Ditch that squirt lube and get a bottle of dumontech. Dry lube will come off the first hour on the divide. I was having to reapply wet lube 3x per day. River crossings and torrential rain are tough for keeping the chain lubed.

best of luck. Wow, very minimal setup, ultra super light, I have to ask: 1. are you washing your chamois daily, 2. what are you doing for real food and where are you carrying that, on your back?
Hey, thanks! I'll wash chamois in creeks and if i stay at a motel, real food in food bags up front, frame bag, top tube bag, ultra bag on back, and the musette im carrying.
@@joe.nation Cool, saw the musette, that is a new concept for me, so you're probably only carrying enough food until the next resupply point which might be 1 day or more apart?
