- Engine 8, Ladder 1 quarters on Hanover St, North End Boston. Ladder 1 out of service on training exercise, Ladder 24 covering.
7/16/19: INCIDENT TIMELINE
1610HRS: Fire Alarm struck Box 1321, Merrimac & New Chardon St for a pulled street box with a 911 call reporting a building fire.
1612HRS: Fire Alarm reported they were taking numerous calls on the fire, no address given.
1615HRS: Ladder 24 arrives on scene, reports smoke showing from a 4 story brick. Gives exact address of 132 Portland St.
1616-1639HRS: Companies investing smoke from the roof. (E8, E4, E50, L24, L14, R1)
1640HRS: All units clear, no fire found. Cause of smoke was an overheating elevator motor on the roof of 132 Portland Street. - Auta a dopravní prostředky

New England Emergency Response Photography I heard they had a good fire today right in their first due. Woulda loved to see that one. Box 1234 I think, 470 Commercial street. Heard they had fire from the second floor on arrival.

I caught engine 10 tower 3 and the rescue Responding from training in Southie to this box
L24 was covering L1.
