I like how the child was the first to stop. the two women were oblivious to what was going on. :-)

To the super-intelligent pedestrians....did you really have a problem deciding whether or not to stop for the responding fire-truck or was it going to be too much of an inconvenience to you?
...at least the child had good sense...
JB I think they were to focused on that bag blowing around
Great work RacingFan911 - EmergencyResponse videos

Are you trying to remind us cloudy days bc it’s so hot now
Lol
Lol this video's super old though. I wish it was warm again lol
Full-time. All fire companies are staffed with 1 officer and 2 FF's.
Bro engine 2 scared that kid sound the siren when ur on the street
Is Somerville FD one of the few around metro Boston that has a tiller ladder?
There aren't a ton. Somerville, Revere, Waltham, Melrose, Quincy off the top of my head.
@@911ERV I believe Revere’s 2 front line ladder trucks are both TDAs. I’m shocked Boston doesn’t use them considering the amount of narrow streets in the city but I think the regular Tower Ladders/RMA’s look cooler anyway.
Great
Woah.
Nice :)
Rescue looks like an engine
It was running an engine as the main truck was out of service.
they almost got run over wow!
Is this a full time company or volunteer station?
camhesse1 full time

Thanks for watching
That engine driver would be suspended at our station for disregarding the safety (and hearing) of the pedestrians as he pulled out crossing a public walk way. Period. You don't have to pull out the station like the 3 stooges going gangbusters to a 5 alarm. They seemed to take their safe time assembling to leave station. Then mash the foot feed and wail out the door in a big, big hurry. You activate red lights, slowly approach the road, make sure it's clear then go. A hand wave to the dad, mom and child would move them along. Due regard for public safety. Period. No excuses. This is how people get hurt, expensive accidents occur and so on. We request the right of way....we don't own the right of way.
Hopefully you’re a fire whatever in another country.
💯 in agreement with you... from top 3 states w/ pedestrian fatalities, don't walk in MSP without 2 swivel heads or crowd... scary , here 75 yrs
Awesome catch!
