This is the week I brought home my new puppy. A Black Labrador Retreiver at 10+weeks old same Sitka after a city in Alaska where she will travel to with me in the future.

Good Evening Friends! My new puppy is a Black Labrador named Sitka! 🐕🦺
Sitka is beautiful! I have a rescue and I feed her both homemade and a bought dog food that is supposed to be really healthy. It’s expensive, but my baby is totally worth it! From my experience and from what I have learned, chicken is not good for most dogs. It can cause an allergic reaction and severe diarrhea. I switched my dog to organic lean ground turkey and she likes it and does really well with it. There’s a lot of homemade dog food recipes you can find on CZcams. Congratulations on your new dog! I’m sure she’ll have a great life with you.

Cute dog! Congrats! I've been waiting for my 10 year old Basenji (Black and white) to grow out of the puppy phase and calm down since I got her. lol Still does 100 mph and can't sit still for a second. However, she is great to travel with in my bugout van, extremely quiet (barkless) and cleans herself like a cat so no dog smell ever.
I got an aussiedoodle and she had digestive issues too. I’ve found giving her a good quality yogurt (favorite is Stoneyfield organic plain whole milk) in the morning makes a positive difference. We walk up to 1 1/2 mile then go back for “breakfast” for her. She also eats pumpkin every day. I did give her homemade food but find that difficult while traveling in my RV. So I get the Diamond brand lamb and rice dry, for now. If she doesn’t have yogurt, she’s likely to throw up.

Puppies sleep alot when they are young, play hard, but then sleep for long periods, and they grow really fast. It is such a special time. Enjoy her..
You are so right , she is growing so fast and I know this time goes so fast so I am thankful I can focus on her at this time of my life :)

Congratulations on your new puppy. She is adorable. I think a lab is the perfect choice for temperament and companionship. YAY! I might suggest a canine probiotic if you think she has digestive issues. I have a Frenchie and they are known for having sensitive stomachs. I get one from Chewy and he gets one per day. Just something to think about.
When I lost my precious yellow lab (he was 13) I got another yellow lab two weeks later. It was the best choice for me.
Yellow labs are beautiful. I almost got a chocolate one but she was gonna be too big . :)

I don't think it is digestive issue. More likely motion sickness. Remember from what you stated, she had minimal movement (no exercise) and alot of hours in a crate. You want to be careful with bringing her in a vehicle with food in stomach. If she associates the vehicle with not feeling good. She won't want to get in the vehicle. And, throwing up in vehicle, could become learned behavior.
She had both motion sickness from the car ride and then digestive upset for about 2 days . When I took her off the kibble she got so much better. :)

Let me say again and not mention where i get it. and see if that works....Bach Rescue Remedy for pet stress.I use for my cat when traveling.
