If you are worried about the gold fading or flaking off you could always spray the gold parts with a clear cover paint like the stuff you spray on you Gunpla after you've done some panel lining.

Seriously, it would be physically impossible to get a trumpet sound out of this, as there is no bell. I finally have one my dragon dagger. This thing is totally awesome. I can't wait to get the rest of the legacy power weapons.
Some of the markings along with the golden chrome details it resembles Egyptian markings.
