- Today I visit the newest course in my local area! The Sweet Spot DGC opened less than a year ago and we are going to check its current process! Let's see if this new edition in West Michigan is a good one!

15:37 The “Get Choo Some” sticker is top tier 😂
I didn't even see that haha!
Early summer in Michigan is absolutely beautiful
Heading up to see some friends in Detroit next month
Thanks for the great DG content
Glad you enjoy it!
Gannon is quickly nearing perfection as an absolute weapon of dominance. His physical gifts are significant and he's only 19, so he's going to get even stronger while also gaining more control over that strength. His putting has been top of world class consistently for all of last season through present. His throwing form, distance control, angle control, and shot shaping ability is top tier and still improving. And above all else, he is maturing quickly into being able to play "smart golf," which is making decisions based upon best probability and eliminating mistakes by having ice in your veins when the stakes and pressure are the highest. Gannon seems to me, to have that killer instinct and that extra lil something seen only in the most dominate champion athletes. Gannon has the most potential to become a GOAT level champ OR he could end up lost amongst the ever growing pool of highly skilled and talented players on tour. Time will tell, but I see him as having "the total package" and best odds at achieving GOAT status.
I can't argue with that! I wonder if a goat will emerge or if the young talent pool is just to strong! Well said
Paul McGoat!
Not a fan of the toilet, some people probably use it while they’re there 🥴
Lastly that uphill hole was a bit too sketchy. Thanks for the video 🙏🏻
Thanks for the input! I agree with all three of those!
Uphill hole ⛳ was a wonderful change up and brings divergent goals to an already resplendently planned course
It's unique that's forsure
Pie Guy (Donny from sweet spot) did a great job and is still working hard in the course. They’re a great family and very comical. The toilet was no shocker considering the person who designed the course🤣 First time I played it, it was 11° and snowing pretty hard.
A live stream would be awesome!
Oh yes they are amazing absolutely no question on that! Just the toilet I don't think adds to the course! That park is just stunning. One of my favorite hole ones ever
Ken Climo is the GOAT. People say he didn't have much competition. But he couldn't control that- you can't control your competition, you just play the best you can. And he did. Clearly better than anyone else during his time. And that's all he could do- be the best during his time.
I don't argue that take at all! Well said
I definitely think you should do a live stream.
Love the front 9 here but the back 9 needs some work
I agree completely!
🙏 Thanks for bringing us along for the ride 😊
Such loveliness in the course crusade!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hunter. I found a used Piwakawaka, in pretty good condition, at my local disc store! I have to say…it is a game changer 🤯 I have shaved about 4 or 5 strokes off my game with it. It is the dream✨ Thank you for introducing me to this P-Wak 👍🏻
That's awesome! The P-wak is a must have!
Dang.. who doesn't LOVE the Piwakawaka!!
Thanks for this, I needed to see this today.
Glad it could help!
Live stream would be great!!! Your knowledge, opinions and humor would make for interesting conversations. Love the vintage plastic videos. Thought your take on every mold has already been produced very interesting. Peace!!
Appreciate the input! I'll definitely think about it!
Great video! Looks like a course with some potential. A livestream would be cool.
It has potential forsure ! Glad you enjoyed it
Ken is the goat for now but I do think is Paul gets on a hot streak he can get there.
You think Paul still has some wins in the tank?
My friends and I played here for the first time last weekend. It's definitely rough and needs a lot of work. That being said, the property is absolutely incredible. I could spend hours out there, disc golf or not. I hope it gets the treatment and care it deserves.
Agree with you on the toilet, it just looks like a piece of trash in the midst of all that beauty. Super out of place
I went mushroom hunting after my round just enjoying the nature !
Just stumbled across your page recently, love your vids, new subscriber🔥
Glad you enjoy them man! Welcome
Live stream would be fun!
It's a possibility if people would tune in!
If it's a morning thing during the week, I'm game. Anytime on weekends. I'm a 2nd shifter
The toilet is crazy! Don't know how I feel about it really. If it was my home course, i don't think I'd like it. 😂 Climo is amazing, and awesome and always "The Champ" with so many wins, but McBeth is the goat because of much better competition. Ricky is my favorite though.
Yes the toilet does not pass the vibe check haha
Biweekly live would have me tuning in!
Still thinking about it!
100% Paul McBeth. And that’s coming from a Ricky fan. Prime Ken Climo wouldn’t have a chance against prime Paul. The game was so rudimentary back in the 90’s that Climo’s skillset was never close to the skill level today’s players have.
As of this moment, I’d say Climo is a legend, McBeth is the goat, and we are seeing more and more talent every generation so who knows what’s to come
Very good take! I like how that's worded
Mcbeth is the goat for sure, but last year they had a glitch tournament at maple hill and this 13 year old kid Landon Brooks, I believe he played on Simon's card, he beat Simon by 9 strokes lol he is going to be damn good in years to come.
@@brandongreen9381 I will definitely keep his name on my radar!
GOAT would be Paul McBeth, imo. He was flawless at his peak. And indeed competition was far better than his predecessors. I also saw him spend extra time with the kids at Idlewild leading up to the tournament. He was quietly a great ambassador of the sport.
Future goat is likely Gannon Buhr.
That's a great take!
I’m curious if you make your disc in the toilet, is it still in?
At that point why not
😂
Was hoping to see any work down on the back nine, and sadly it still looks barely playable. Front nine is fun though!
I agree. There is a tournament there coming up, so I'm sure they plan to do a lot to get it ready for that
The porcelain toilet was a bit much. Perhaps the bench from an outhouse?
Who's knows what's going on there haha
There is no such thing as a greatest ever... only, the best of their generation. Comparisons between generations can be fun to think about as "what if" thought experiments, but no actual answer can ever be reached.
Yea, I think we all know that deep down but it is fun !
You asked about hole 14. Play it as intended! Think of the great stories your buddies can share, of Hunter tumbling down the side of a cliff! Honestly don't get hurt, pĺease!
That potential is definitely there haha!
Hole 14 is not a good hole. Nearly broke my neck climbing up the one foot wide trail with my Zuca. Love the rest of the course, I aced hole #7. McBeast is the GOAT of modern DG, Kenny is the GOAT of OG DG.
Hole 14 is brutal. I agree about Macbeth as much as I love climo
I like it! They can both be goats
Kinda disrespectful Craig was not mentioned as a possible GOAT in your hole 9 break....
He was busy using the toilet
Ezra Aderhold!
Really?
@@tossingplastic I hope so! He definitely has the capability. He just has to take another few steps.
Hole 14 is way too “luck required”
It's aggressive forsure!
A toilet, really. Lol
It sure is
Toilet has to go….not a good look on such a good looking course!
I agree!
carts are gay
Strange opinion to have on that topic
