Greetings, Yasser, this painting is quite excellent.
Besides the appealing surrounding green and blooming landscape, against the background of some tall cypresses rising like obelisks into the sky, a small but fine cottage nestles in the landscape, away from larger settlements, surrounded by beautiful individual trees and scattered bushes. A few steps make it easier to descend and reach the path below, where loose stones have rolled down. A narrow stone bridge ducks over a creek that flows in the penumbra on the left. Hiding in the shelter of the bridge may be a few trout, just awakened from their night's sleep by the soft splash of fishing line cast into the water. In the distance a few birds fly, startled by a disturbing noise.
Possibly this beautiful and idyllic scene takes place in the early hours of the morning, after the sun has risen and its first rays are preparing to warm the air and dispel the early morning mist that still makes the landscape behind appear slightly hazy.
The woman seems very optimistic about her husband's ability to catch fish, as she carries a medium-sized basket waiting to be filled. She looks impatiently over his shoulder, hoping for a good catch, perhaps enough for more than just one meal.
As always, an elaborate work, very detailed, appealing and admirable, painted in wonderful colours.
(About the red-gold chimney, perhaps a bit too prominent and protruding into the sky, I will rather spread the veil of silence.) -

Yasser, today I tried to paint along with you at full speed. Only one or two pauses, and stopped about half way. Wrong brushes, wrong colours and with acrylics, Interesting results. It's not a Van Gogh but it's an improvement on my previous efforts.! Shukran from Ireland.
