Just went up last month-an excellent long day. Many don't realize just how big Cascade is and how long the scramble- 20+ km return to your car in the Mt. Norquay parking lot.
I'm planning on doing the Cascade Amphitheatre as my first hike, but the hike to the top of the mountain looks really nice. Would you recommend it for a beginner? I'm pretty physically fit, but I am inexperienced with route finding.
