- Panther Creek Falls Trail is one of the Best Georgia Hikes. This North Georgia trail is about 7 miles roundtrip.
Panther Creek Falls is a beautiful waterfall and it also has a sandy beach which makes it the perfect place to relax and cool off.
This trail does have some bridges out. Panther Creek Falls Trail has been closed but it is now open to advanced hikers. Bridge reconstruction and trail repairs are ongoing so be sure to have a map and be ready for some creek crossings.
The Panther Creek Falls Hike begins at the the Panther Creek Recreation area. There is a parking fee.(currently $4)
The trail reaches Panther Creek Falls around the 3.4 mile mark.
Going hiking here for the first time on Sunday, so excited to finally get on a difficult trail. Hopefully I'll run into some beautiful wildlife while I'm out there

Good to see/hear the trail is now back open and a lovely, albeit rocky walk in to the falls although that creek crossing looked a it sketchy. The falls looked awesome, I bet you were pleased you can now go back and revisit them, cheers Alan

I love how waterfalls come in all shapes and sizes... I thought the width of this one was more impressive than the height. Looked like a nice hike along the water... How cold was it? Good tip on looking for easier crossings up or downstream, too! I did a good bit of that on one of my recent hikes 😂
