Actually, it's more of a fear for the abandonment and the memories of us being forgotten. One of the biggest factoring separating humans and other other animals is our desire to create something everlasting, and we are afraid that when we die, our our efforts, glory, achievements, and life will simply be forgotten and abandoned with time.

Lost my mother on 1st of april 2021 because of brain tumor. I was at work when my sister sent me a message that my mother had passed. I hurried to go back home but i was thinking that when i'll get there, someone will just say April fool's.. 3 years after and still I'm still waiting that someone will tell me that it has been all a lie. Just like someone said, this song feels perfect for Kaori's goodbye, but in my opinion, is reminiscing of the memories. Meanwhile, Hikaru Nara is Kousei's version of a reminisence- most of the lyrics describe how bright his world was soon after meeting her. Since musicians convey their feelings through music, Hikaru Nara and Orange seems like polar opposites- one of welcomes, and one of goodbyes- one of light, sweet memories, just like their spring, and one of soothing, bittersweet loneliness, just like his spring. Though contrasting in nature, they are a tribute to each other- to never forget.

My grandma passed away just today due to COVID-19 and even though we weren’t that close, she is still a family to me. Listening to this song and reading the lyrics just saddens me more that I couldn’t be a better grandchild and spend more time with her. She lived in Minnesota and my family lives in California so we weren’t in touch much but whenever we visited, she was so happy to meet her grandchildren and each time we left to go home, she always gave us $10 each telling us to visit again and I’d just shrug it off and now I regret not giving her a hug. But then, this song also gave me a sigh of relief, “Ah, that’s right. My joyful, always smiling grandma is watching us always even if she’s not here.” Thank you and I love you Grandma.

Personally I don't feel Kousei himself had a long life after that. He might have become a supernova before getting warped into his own field. While grateful indeed he was I sincerely wonder if his body could go on given his past trauma.
@@ramanunnikrishnan7354 I think Kousei is going to live a wonderful life. He's learned from all his pain instead of letting it destroy him. We see this throughout the anime. And even though most of those lessons were through someone he truly loved, and Inevitably lost, even that is a lesson in itself. Furthermore, he has some wonderful friends like Tsubaki and Watari. I think he will surely continue to play piano too.

I can't imagine if i were Kousei (or in Kousei's shoes). He got the first letter and this only letter would be the last letter from someone he adored, someone he loved in silence, someone who gave him a life while she herself was dying and yet he didn't even know until the very last moment, and still had to process/to accept about all truth that Kaori had revealed (while this time she was gone forever), it was really hurtful and painful.

Just like someone said, this song feels perfect for Kaori's goodbye, but in my opinion, is reminiscing of the memories. Meanwhile, Hikaru Nara is Kousei's version of a reminisence- most of the lyrics describe how bright his world was soon after meeting her. Since musicians convey their feelings through music, Hikaru Nara and Orange seems like polar opposites- one of welcomes, and one of goodbyes- one of light, sweet memories, just like their spring, and one of soothing, bittersweet loneliness, just like his spring. My grandma passed away just today due to COVID-19 and even though we weren’t that close, she is still a family to me. Listening to this song and reading the lyrics just saddens me more that I couldn’t be a better grandchild and spend more time with her. She lived in Minnesota and my family lives in California so we weren’t in touch much but whenever we visited, she was so happy to meet her grandchildren and each time we left to go home, she always gave us $10 each telling us to visit again and I’d just shrug it off and now I regret not giving her a hug.

I cant forget her and I wont forget her. almost 10 years since the anime aired and I will never forget the story of a teenager life has change because he met a beautiful girl under a fully bloom cherry blossom which fix and change his life. Personally I don't feel Kousei himself had a long life after that. He might have become a supernova before getting warped into his own field. While grateful indeed he was I sincerely wonder if his body could go on given his past trauma.
@@ramanunnikrishnan7354 I think Kousei is going to live a wonderful life. He's learned from all his pain instead of letting it destroy him. We see this throughout the anime. And even though most of those lessons were through someone he truly loved, and Inevitably lost, even that is a lesson in itself. Furthermore, he has some wonderful friends like Tsubaki and Watari. I think he will surely continue to play piano too.

I can't imagine if i were Kousei (or in Kousei's shoes). He got the first letter and this only letter would be the last letter from someone he adored, someone he loved in silence, someone who gave him a life while she herself was dying and yet he didn't even know until the very last moment, and still had to process/to accept about all truth that Kaori had revealed (while this time she was gone forever), it was really hurtful and painful.
