I didn't order this particular kukuri but I did order from them. The one I ordered is a 13 1/2" fighting kukuri. this is a phenomenal knife. Workmanship is impeccable.
My review of the Super Fast Full Tang Khukuri from GGK (Great Gurkha Khukuri.com). In comparison to Nepalese kukris I got many years ago, this one is superior, because it has a true full tang, the handle is sized correctly, the grind/edge are first rate, and it is still light enough to carry long distances easily. In the text description box, you can find the GGK website and store, as well as all their social media (also prepping links that help support the channel). Enjoy :D
Are they still trading ? I can’t contact them at the moment ?
Hey Brother, Purna Darnal bhai is awesome blade maker and most sweet humble person...
2/29.2020 ***PRICE UPDATE*** - GGK has reduced the price from $200 to $149, as they want more people to be able to own one of these!
I have this full tang, coming my way!
Excellent! I am sure you will be pleased with it!
Thanks to you. I've purchased and now own my first khukuri. The royal Nepalese Gurkha khukuri. Will be purchasing another very soon
Dam man, I’m an Aussie lookin for a bloody good tool and my mate said check out khukuri’s and I knew of them, always thought they looked beautiful. Never knew this was so resourceful, definitely gonna get one... great review mate I love it, very informative
Excellent! I'm glad you have found something for your needs!
Yep, de-limbing,, that's why I carry mine,, !!
And sometimes I cut, wood too,,!!!
Another great video,,,,
Yea....Yard Work , Or For Taking Over A Small Village Or Poorly Defended Town .......
I haven't been watching many videos lately as I have had too much going on. I have to say, that in my opinion you have the best knife and blade channel on CZcams. I really mean that, hands down the best, most interesting and fun. Great review!
Thanks for your kind words!
Great video and review this khukuri is awesome I love mine! Purna and all his Karma do fine work!
I love that convex edge on that super-fast kukri and that's funny, as I was just looking over that Royal Nepalese kukri when you mentioned it. It is a little heavier and thicker so I would assume not as fast as the lighter kukri you have in the video. I wouldn't mine owning both though. Nice blades, Thanks again.
What a great looking blade. That would definitely de-limb a tree. I don't think it would only work on small ones. Great video.
I just bought one of these. They filled my order in one day. Shipping was very fast. The knife is awesome. At least as sharp as yours. I WIIL buy more from this company. Namaste.
Very Good Video . Great Review , Very Helpful . Anyone Who Knows Khukuris Knows They Are The Top Of The Knife World . The Most Useful , Not Too Big Or Small , Just Amazing For Almost Every Task . I'd Take A Good Khukuri , Like This Knife Is , Over Many Firearms If Given A Choice Between The Two . Why ? This Thing Will Never Run Out Of Bullets .
Just purchased, great review
This khukuri looks like the real one used by gurkha, very perfect shape
Who can’t love a khukuri?
Thanks for making this video
I just had Purna Darnal make me a super fast in damascas metal. It is finished today super excited!
Love this review
Thanks, my friend!
Damn, these triple fast jug slices are sick, man.
Glad you like them!
Man this is crazy fast and sharp
Nice review, thanks 👍
☄☄Amazed this one doesn't have 10X the views with such an insane thumbnail. Good video!👍
Can’t tell if this is sarcasm
Thanks for the review !
Welcome, thanks for watching!
I am really looking at KHHI (Khukuri House) currently, but this has my attention. Wanting a simple functional tool, though the Panawal (full tang) is very tempting. Also I have never seen a chakmak (the flint striker/sharpening steel) made in a flint striker design.Usually they are both garbage, and the utility knife (karda) doesn't have much if any edge, but they are usually the same small knife appearance, where one simple is not sharpened. How is it holding up? Really torn between these and KHHI now. Appreciate any further input.
Fantastic review man, do you know if these blades are deferentially heat treated?
Love the video. How good is the little knife that came with it?
Well buddy that is the best looking kukri I ever seen fact true that it's very clean nice looking
This is one badass review brother. That is a beautiful and crazy sharp ass kukri. Love the way the handle look's.👊💀👍
Yeah most kukris have a tapered tang, but they went true full tang on this sucker because a lot of people requested it, so the handle is distinct and more costly to forge.
@@WeAllJuggleKnives Price ain't bad for the beautiful work for sure.👊💀
Good looking kukri, doesn't look as heavy as one I've seen it the pass and can do fine work with ease.
Nice I need one of these Badazz blades, Thanks for sharing. 😎
Welcome, my friend!
i love Gurkha Khukuri
Me too :]
Damn dude i used to watch your videos in high school 7 years ago you look completely different now!
Thanks bro! I got back into being healthy :]
Sweet piece...
Glad you dig it!
Very cool review, you showed it well. That’s a nice Kukri.
Thanks, buddy!
Kukri blade is nice. But i prefer straight cleaver or billhook blade. Stronger and more sturdy in the cleave and chop
This video convinced me to get one 🔥
Excellent, hope you like it!
that's a monster Khukuri out there 😍😬
A very nice shape, sleek and full tang, very nice.
Great cutting brother 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks, my friend!
Dude, you look like a pro.
Thank you, been doing this a while.
Awesome review! I need to get one of these!
Excellent, I have a few Nepalese Kukris and this one had the best edge so far.
I ordered the larger 15” blade version. Looking forward to when it arrives.
I bought one, thanks!
Excellent! I am glad they are still shipping them.
As some 3 years timeline with perchance more usage beyond review demonstrations and/or placed into collection status... How have the handles held up to cracking and especially/specifically the decorative pommel end-cap metal? I have an EGKH in full-tang... however, in nearly the first outing (environment of Alaska winter snow/ice conditions) its pommel cap 'decorative plate' fell off easily and exposed the ragged rear of the tang and wood. Curious how this GGK pommel cap has held up?
This one has held up, but I have a lot of kukris from different makers over the years, I could see if I hard used some of them they could potentially break, none so far though, I've batoned with all of them. The good news is that almost all makers nowadays have come out with true full tang models as an option.
Beautiful made khukuri
Glad you dig it!
Lol, always enjoy your vids.
I'm glad :]
This is one sweet khukuri. I would.love to have one.
nice
Purna Darnal is awesome Khukri maker and avid Blade-Lover ✌👍❤
Definitely!
Great review.
Thanks!
That was an awesome review I was amazed on how sharp that blade is; I will check this site out. I have my review of the Barong Pula uploaded.
Thanks, bro. I love the Barong Pula!
It sure is a great cutter and has a razor edge.
Is there a type of specific blade sharpener for this khukuri or can I use any type of blade sharpener?
That is an awesome looking kukri.
For sure, thank you for watching!
Have you ever tried the tora or the tfw kukri? Would like to buy one of these and was curious which one you would get? Thanks for all these years of entertaining videos. All the best from Romania
I looked into them years ago, but they were all sold out at that time, so I hadn't got one.
Proud to be Gurkha🇳🇵🔪
It is nice that they make them a bit bigger for our larger hands over here but they do tend to over do it sometimes. Lol
can you carve wooden canoes with kukris?
The swept forward design is far safer and superior.
It protects your hands as well. The blade will always hit before your hand get close to making contact.
Great points on the advantages of the kukri!
still looking forward to the review of the other version^^
I don't think he ever did one? I've looked everywhere for it and couldn't find it...☹️
That is a sweet blade 😍
The sheath looks great
And the accessories look quality. I think i need it.
How dose it compare to the ColdSteel kukuri ?
Also have you seen the 2020 buck talon?
Will you please review it?
Love you reviews
Brother👍
It is thicker at the spine, and has a bevel instead of being full flat, but it is just as sharp or more. I believe Cold Steel has discontinued it's old Gurkha Kukri, they've disappeared from Amazon, now they only sell a machete version.
Dude, looks like you lost weight? Looking good my friend!
Thanks, bro!
Danm bro you really trimmed up bro,no shit good job 👍👍
Thanks, my friend!
@@WeAllJuggleKnives yea man you look really good no home O lol 😂
Nutjob approved! Thanks for sharing!
Excellent! All nutjobs need one of these suckers :D
WeAllJuggleKnives already added one to the cart. Thanks.
At min mark 12:30 that combo was sick!
Thanks, my friend!
Sweeeeeeeet!
Jay nepal jay gorkha 🇳🇵♥️
Nepali. Khukuri ✨🇳🇵
Man, slicing that paper got me. wow.
love from nepal
Thank you, my friend!
Hi Juggler! Great video! This thing looks amazing! Just a quick question... the price not withstanding, which would you recommend between the GGK Superfast, the Kabar Kukri machete, or the Ontario Kukri?
The steel is better on this one, and the edge, those others are more like machetes, but if price is no object, the GGK.
Thank you, sir, for your reply! I'll start saving up then.
Israel, did you ever review the Royal Nepalese Gurkha Army Khukuri? I can't find it on the channel.
Hi! No, they had to shut down temporarily from Covid, so they asked me not to do it right away. I think they are back in operation, but I haven't heard from them after that.
Did you ever review the Royal Nepalese 13.5" one?
No. I lost contact with their representative during the lockdowns. They shut down for a while. I am hoping he did not pass away. But anyway, they never told me when they were good to ship again. Actually, it has been so long, I'll probably review it on my own.
is it a good idea to throw kukris?
I just ordered one based off your review.
I think kukris are cool but every one I've ever seen in real life has been some cheap ornamental ones from India or western made with a half inch spine that wouldn't cut anything but makes a good bludgeoning tool
I want a knife, not an axe
Hey WAJK, seriously researching kukris for purchase this week. Have watched all your Kuk videos, (looking forward to Royal Nepalese review), Advanced Knife Bro"s, many others and countless online best/versus/comparo's. The Super Fast Full Tang Khukuri is really a beauty, but out of my price range, (currently $189 with shipping, 5% coupon expired and the wait...). Pretty much settled on the Ka-Bar Kukri Machete (sub $60 delivered), but then the Ka-Bar BK21 caught my attention, (you haven't review it?), although $150 is also more than I am comfortable spending. Have innumerable EDCs, a Trailmaster clone, a Fallkniven S1 clone, and an antique Estwing 14" Sportsman's Axe. Would like to have one tool to rule them all, will be used for clearing instead of a machete, (don't have one of those either). Is the Ka-Bar Kukri Machete the best bang for the buck first and only Kukri for the foreseeable future? (Irish/Dominican American)
You are in luck, my friend, I reviewed the Kabar BK21 back in the day, it did very well, here you go: czcams.com/video/2QPiKzoSkic/video.html. The Ka-bar Kukri Machete is definitely softer steel than the BK21, it is possible to damage the edge on hard weathered woods. I am not sure what the best budget kukri is. Maybe the CRKT Kuk? Or one of the Nepal ones with rougher finish but full tang?
@@WeAllJuggleKnives Doh, just saw this now, wait what!? Thanks for the quick reply brother, will view the review, lol. Haven't ordered yet, tracking a few and keeping options open. Heart wants Nepalese, wallet not so much, although have considered the rough "cheap" Nepal one to sort out.
Really enjoy your reviews, been watching for years. Appreciate the time and effort you put in, admire your collection and knowledge, thanks for sharing both. Congrats on the weight loss, not an easy task. Cheers n Stay Healthy!
@@WeAllJuggleKnives Located a mint pre-owned EGKH Service No.1, 10.25" blade, 9.5" cutting edge, rat tail, buffalo horn handle Kukri for $32 shipped to me door. Nicer quality Napalese for the price of a rough finished one. Should arrive in a few days.
How thick the blade is bro?
Which one is that 14inch full tang
Are those links still active and good because I'm liking that Kukri and it's what a martial blade of that type should be like , and not a over heavy blade axe although some may have a purpose for a heavy blade , I prefer a good solid we'll make light blade such as that one.
Yes they are, I am sure you will enjoy owning one of these :]
@@WeAllJuggleKnives Good to hear that and
Thank you.
👍👍👍💯👌
Second!!!!
Thanks for watching!
I'm from nepal...this is good shit you got there...quality is extremely good...built perfectly...👍don't sell it's very handy...!!
Nice kukri bro
Thanks!
@@WeAllJuggleKnives ,no problem, that one you got is pretty big,I've priced some on amazon an found one with some heft to it for 91.00 an it's 13 inches, 1/2 inch thickness
@@WeAllJuggleKnives ,have you seen the new m-48 liberator infantry tomahawk on amazon, no one else has done a review on it on CZcams yet,it's tang runs down a little further than most of their line, just thought I'd let you know, ty it's like 52.00,I plan on getting one.
I have 2 of them at home just sitting around
Kena paku bisa putus ga.
Total length? Weight? Thickness? In best Bert Gummer voice -"Vital need to know info!" Looks like a nice sirupate.. Looks like pretty thin stock, but very nice and bad @$$... Just wow, man!
What's the notch in the blade for ) ? Just front of the handle )
To stop a blood flowing through in the hand of user during war
They seem like well done blades, I'll have to check out their site before somebody somewhere decides they are dangerous and illegal and I may put my eye out ! 😀🔪
Yeah the nanny state in US and Europe is getting out of hand!
How much does your khukuri weigh? On the website, it says 400-420grams which is incredibly light for this size.
Poison skinned frogs loooooooool
Dude Im still waiting for the royal nepalese review!!
Sorry, they asked me to postphone it a while until Covid dies down, some of the European countries and possibly Nepal have limited their mail service.
Love the blade but not the sheath. I guess they would sell it without one and ill just get one made.
How long did it take for you to get it?
It took about 2 weeks if I remember correctly, but I'm sure it varies.
Why the shape of the Khukri sheath?
I wanna this one, how much is this
Couldn't find your review on the larger khukuri? If you had to choose between the smaller or larger, which do you prefer?
I would choose this one, it is top notch!
@@WeAllJuggleKnives I just got it in! What a beauty! Top notch work and attention to detail. Perfect size and fit. I didn't want a large, mega heavy khukuri which makes this a perfect choice. I'm getting tired of lugging around the sharpened crowbar bricks made today.
Obviously, more geared toward fighting than woods chores...
I do wonder how it will handle some MODERATE batoning because that's the first thing we all secretly want to do haha. I'm almost afraid to actually use it it's so pretty lol.
Thanks for the review! Glad I got this one!
@@pennsyltuckyreb9800 - Excellent, I'm glad it was worth the wait! Yes this thing is a speed razor of doom!
size name shapes price of this khukuri
Beautiful sirupate but $30.00 for shipping, damn!
Do you know if all his blades are full tang? This one is the only only on his website that actually says full tang.
Most of them will be a traditional enclosed/hidden stick or enclosed/hidden tapered tang.
U got there good one mate Nice
Don't touch the blade with naked hand .
Use rifle oil/gun oil to clean the blade.
If u can use that properly will do a bad sh*t
👍🏼
Thanks for watching!
good makig kukuri nice
