Touhou music is weirdly like classical music where it works extremely well with metal
It's essentially Japanese classical/jazz fusion inspired in the most part.
OG Touhou music took its cues from Rockman/Megaman. It IS metal music, just written on the limitations of MIDI tracks.
Classical music and metal Go togheter like butter and Jam, especially with death metal and of course, neoclassical

Oh man, if you want there's another epic song from Touhou 4, and that's the final boss theme, 'Faint Dream, Inanimate Dream.' It might even sound better if you started with a wistful rendition of the stage theme, 'Dream Land'
