- A vlog with news from my kingdom, started this new lockdown in France since friday , in a quite strange atmosfear to say the least... Mélusine in her tower had been completed and shipped earlier this week to the museum . News from the upcoming exhibition,, all the past christmas workshops are now open.
Mélusine will be part of the new exhibition " Le Chant des Ondes" organized by Le Centre Des Monuments Nationaux and le Musée Benoît-De-Puydt at Bailleul (North of France)

I was so excited to see a new vlog. Melusine in the tower is absolutely beautiful, love the roses and the colour scheme throughout. Can't believe all these attacks are happening again, as if your country hasn't been through enough. I saw a report this morning that there was another attack in Austria but I don't know any details I just saw the headline. I think Australia has just passed it's second wave and in my state we haven't had any cases. There have only been a few but they had come from overseas and were already in hotel quarantine. We have also lost a few large events that used to happen every year but because the organisers and authorities can't figure out a safe way to allow it to go ahead they have to cancel. But still we are very fortunate here. Judging by the last scene in your vlog, I think you may have to make a tower for Clochette! Thanks for sharing and stay safe.

People don't follow the rules.. it's one of the main reasons where I live that there are millions of cases of infections and hundreds of thousands of deaths. It's such a precarious time to live. Thank goodness you're safe and at home. Beautiful work Laetitia. Its so amazing how you can transform words/story into physical reality. Good luck to everyone and take care.

You must make a tower for Clochette. She looks so lovely when she is in that place. A little princess. All cats love to hide in a box or a bag. Some cats are very lucky and they have a tower with roses. :+) Just a joke, we need to laugh in a lockdown. Here it is not a complete lockdown, but tomorow we hear what is next. You made a beautiful piece of art, they can be very happy in the museum.
Yes Marjan , I plan to make one for by the end of december, she totally deserves one! You are totally right we have no other options! Laughing is a necessity during a lockdown, I know I ve heard a bit of what's coming in teh Netherlands, I think you are going to follow us, I hope they it will be fun later to see how they add their lights to it! What a wonderful glimpse of fairytale beauty-thank you! I really love the colour pallet you used in this art piece. We have just finished over 100 days of strict lockdown and I enjoyed all the little things- grass growing long and the bees and insects loving it, the birds enjoying the parks. I read many art books I have not made time for before and did lots of dreaming, so I think its all about embracing a positive perspective. Wishing you joy (and productivity) in this time.

Your work is amazing as always.At least when you are on lock down it keeps you busy with your work and glad to see you safe at home. I have been following what has been going on in your kingdom. It's amazing how people act the same foolish ways there and here in the United States, refusing to wear a mask at all or like the ladies you described not wearing them correctly.We have the election coming up Tuesday and cities all over have been preparing by boarding up businesses etc not knowing what to expect after the election results.Hoping there will be no violence. It's a scary time in this world and something that none of us would have predicted. I'd rather be in the imaginary art world too to keep from worrying.We must carry on and keep creating beauty and thats all we can do for now.Sending love, positive thoughts and be safe.

I watched the video and your friend (Gaelle) I think and you and she might love Magnolia Pearl Texas. In Usa, Texas. Her clothes are supposed to be made with the finest linens, dyes, etc. The only bad thing is they are insanely expensive. But look at her dresses, etc and get ideas. That's what I have done. Nothing beats the vintage clothing shops, does it. You have inspired me!!
I know this brand and I agree with you on that.......... I ve bought things from similar expensive brands, I ve been very disappointed with the quality after wearing them a bit and for these prices you wouldn't expect they would be made in asia .... I just rather think of supporting for my next purchases creators who are actually making their clothes themselves with high quality fabric and of course starting to make my own clothes in january ! thank you Corée!

Hello, Laetitia! I'm so glad you're safe and doing well, but oh, what madness we're all dealing with. Here in the US, of course, things are just as insane and people are just as depressing and uncooperative. It put me out of the mood to post my work as well. I'm glad the museum is going ahead with the exhibition because the Melusine piece is gorgeous. I hope the museum will put the exhibition online. I have a new piece in my arts association's virtual exhibition this autumn as well. Thank goodness for the internet. Also, omg, Clochette. She is too adorable. Stay well!
Thank you Jen I know every week as its share of insanity , I don't know what they will do, as they need to sell ticketsand the purpose is also to make people vsit the museum , so not sure they will show it online but I guess it will be ready when the world goes back to normal...!but sure 20 years ago lockdowns would have been much tougher even for the economy. Well, where to begin? I am concerned for you living in a Covid hotspot and I think lockdown is the best thing to do. We are so lucky here in Australia. We had a big scare with the state of Victoria, but they did a severe lockdown and pretty much saved the rest of the country. I live in Queensland and our border has been closed or restricted for quite a while. We are living life almost back to normal except the social distancing is strongly encouraged. Your latest work is really lovely. Sounds odd but I really love the roof lines of Melusine's towers - the shapes, the colour and the way the gold merges down onto the roof. I hope you have not caught Covid. Can you get tested? Protect yourself and get lots of work done in lockdown xxx
It's good that you are safe in Australia, maybe the way your country is organized make it easier to hold the epidemy, enjoy your back to normal life and with summer coming it's better for you not to be stuck at home . I seen in January you have a stained tablecloth,etc. I use Le Blanc linen wash. Sometimes you find old material with those rusty stains. Just an idea. I bought the linen wash online.

It amazes me how someone who lives in her self-created fairytale can survive stepping out into the world of selfish and ignorant humans.
