visited this particular site in 2014. what a privilege. In all my time in Israel, I felt the closest to Jesus in the Galilee. I so easily could envision Him on the shores of this lake speaking/teaching to His disciples. Amazing.
Iv'e been sitting here about to bite my nails off hoping something awesome would pop up on my feed and it happened, This showed up!!
Now my Saturday is better once again!!!

I was in Tiberius early march this year and what a beautiful city it is. Took a boat ride in the Sea of Galilee and it really brought me back to the time of Jesus. It was truly a very spiritual experience.

Good to see it again, was there in July 2018, I didn't see it all but I saw the things in the video except the water purifying cistern. The church is beautiful and all its mosaic pictures of bible stories on the walls. I went to all the Christian sites along the Sea of Galilee. ( not on a tour)

I have never been to Israel, but l hope before Jesus comes back.
Definitely stay at this Magdala hotel right off of the Sea of Galilee. And go on one of the boats “Faith,” “Hope,” or “Love” for a worship service. And when you go go in a prayerful and worshipful attitude remembering that wherever you go to shine the light of Jesus even if you don’t talk about him they will see it in you and maybe even ask you questions. I didn’t plan on going to Israel, but God prepared me years before I knew I would go with scripture study. Nearly 2 years before I went I very clearly felt I needed to study the book of Mark, the book of Ezekiel, and the book of Isaiah. Those were a huge part of my trip and conversations with the people I met there. Even Jeremiah 29:11-13 and Isaiah 53 were the responses I gave when people met me and asked me why I was a follower of Jesus. And when in Jerusalem make sure to go to the place that is called city of David where the Hezekiah tunnel is and plan on spending time there and learn about it before. When I actually was given the opportunity to go to Israel I only had three months warning but God was preparing me for it a long time both spiritually and financially. 🥰 and on a more practical note have either rubber sandals or water shoes, know that the sinks before you get to the eating areas are for ceremonial prayer washing, and don’t expect meat at breakfast or dairy at dinner due to the scripture verse that a kid (goat) should not be boiled and it’s mothers milk. Nearly every place in Israel takes that not only to mean that exact baby animal in its mothers milk but not to have meat and dairy at the same meal. The food is wonderful, you won’t miss dairy in the evening or meet in the morning. I actually think God must’ve made her digestive system to do better not mixing those two things because many people found they were able to eat dairy without the meat and not have their typical dairy sensitivities.

I enjoyed the video. Just one question: where did the women sit in that small synagogue? It's my understanding that the women had to be separate in case they were menstruating during which time they were regarded as ceremonially unclean and anything they touched was rendered unclean.

I scrolled through the comments to see if someone else caught this address also. I've been watching alot of the Watchmen series over the past 2 weeks & when I came across this Episode i was also dumbfounded that Erick called Eamon Kelly "Father". Obviously he called him that out of respect as I grew up Catholic & became an Acolyte & know why he did but was still surprised that someone like Erick doesn't know as a follower of Jesus that calling someone like a Priest "Father" is Blasphemy
It makes no sense to me that we talk about spiritual fathers or pastoral fathers. It would make so much more sense if we said Shepard, because even scripture describes that while Jesus is the shepherd who is to guide us there are also pastoral shepherds. This is why Protestants typically say Pastor and not father.
I think blasphemy would have an intent behind it that this didn’t have, but you’re not wrong that scripturally Jesus said pretty clearly that our leaders are not to be called father. Moving forward people should just be more careful, obviously the tradition of saying father came from someone that didn’t realize they were going against Scripture. Remember, God looks at the heart‘s intent, it doesn’t mean that there can’t be earthly consequences for mistakes, but God is merciful and forgiving, he especially Blesse is the Humble that recognize their mistakes and move forward in peace and unity.
Indeed Israel🇮🇱 is Wonderfull Place of GOD. Hoping that people who live in israel will not destroying the Promise Land of GOD. I love❤️✝️ ISRAEL🇮🇱
