- What's The Best Surf Grip 2021? This is a HexaTraction Review, a Surf Wax Alternative. Does it work? On this Surfer Lifestyle Vlog I test out the HexaTraction grip.
This is the Final part in a three (3) part series I've made documenting myself customizing (grom-it) my Slater Design Sci-Fi Surfboard.
In this part we take the Sci-Fi out to the beach to see if the Hexatraction is a "No" or a "Go". This was a fun video to make.
HexaTraction is said to be a premium, innovative watersport product, made in Barcelona since 2010.

Try the Van Der Waal 3.0 traction, it's way grippier and cheaper than the hexatraction.

Is this grip hurts skin a lot?
From my experience, after about 1 hour or so in the water my chest and stomach started getting rubbed raw. So yes, it can hurt.
If you purchase this type of grip definitely wear a shirt or a rash guard, that should help.
Other than that it will not hurt you if your feet touch grip. 🤙🏽
