Looks like a fun, useful project and I'm pretty sure I've got all the lumber I need already in my workshop! Thanks for the inspiration!!
Thanks for the video. I have been thinking of building chairs for my deck and these seem to be the perfect balance between form and function.
I love the simplicity of these chairs!!
Thank! Great video and great chairs. The first Person who wrote the dimensions, and not easily showed how he knows how to tighten the screws. Thanks again! Good luck!
Love the project Linn. I think chairs are almost the perfect challenge for someone with ambitions to make furniture. Your approach of proto typing the chair to ensure comfort is a great technique we can all use. Thanks. Let's see more of Matt in the edit.
Great, that was my intention :)
Looks very comfy. A couple of beers would be perfect. Watching from Bangkok, Thailand
Thank you for this idea. These will be nice for out garden.
Wonderful! New subscriber. I sprayed the lower legs of my Adirondack chairs with liquid rubber. It really helps.
Nice chair and great to see one that's not another adirondack! :) (Some of us older folk find getting back out of them to be a chore)
Dean Ellison... Pondering now. An Izzy style power drill driven elevating platform... Hmmm
Simple is so often the best. Great job!
Nice and easy to build chairs. I like it!
Very nice Linn...thanks for sharing! 👍🏻👏
nice. simple and yet comfortable
Really nice work Linn! 👍
Nice build Linn, your looking swell too 😉👍🏼😊
This looks like the outdoor chair I've been looking for, not to "loungey" and easy to build.
They go great with the bbq pit table you made before. He likes them as well....
Great looking seat.
Wonderful video and build....as always!!
Thank you!
Great build!
They look really comfy!
They are :)
Chairs are nice. Love the dog!
You sound like you have a slight cold, please take care of yourself and the little one. Wonderful project. Thank you for sharing your skills.
Nice functional and simple.
amazing ~great job~ love them
You could make yourself a maternity chair, you've earned it. A crib would be good also, these two things are things you could pass down. Also babies are quite resilient when it comes to noise.
I have trouble with my legs and this design looks like it might work out good .
Very nice you may need to add rockers to them for when the baby gets here it will love to be rocked
Thanks Linn that’s a really great design
very cool, and looks really nice!
simple and beatiful
Gracias maestra por enseñarnos su arte que Dios la bendiga
Excelente parabéns pelo trabalho !
Nice project. Good luck with the baby, he/she is already having fun at the shop, hehe
I really like your design. While I've always liked the look of Adirondack chairs, I've never liked sitting in them and this really does seem like a nice compromise. I think I'm going to give this a try.
Nice work Lynn!
Thanks!
I'm thinking of making bench seats that wrap around the railing on my deck. I think this design could be easily adapted to work. I like how the materials are simple and standard. :)
I noticed that you use Phillips head screw it took me a wile to switch as well but now that i use torks or star tip i will never go back nice chair !;-)Thankyou
this channel is great
The chairs look very comfortable. Happy to see you still working! Don't forget that you will need to make a rocking chair after the baby is born. My wife always used the rocking chair to put our daughter to sleep.
Great work. You're awesome
I am obsessed with your dog.
You just need a slide away footstool that slips/slides underneath. Lovely design and just what I have been looking for. If you don’t want to buy readymade cushions a competent DIYer or an upholsterer could make something bespoke. Love the video so much I have subscribed. 👍
Mi piacciono moltissimo, complimenti !!!
Dating upgrades the look and comfort and the result is very beautiful
Terrific! Are you considering building a crib for the baby or some other baby furniture or toy(s)?
Ah bueno¡ Impresionante tu trabajo amiga voy a copiar tu modelo, aparte de ingeniosa eres una mujer hermosa. Saludos desde MÉXICO.
All that's needed now is a matching ottoman. I see your pregnancy appears to be progressing normally, congratulations on the coming new addition(s). Any news on you having just one, twins, triplets and weather the baby(babies) are a boy(s) or girl(s). Prayers for healthy delivery and healthy baby(s).
You look beautiful lin! Congratulations
Really beautiful! :)
A tip: it's always useful to tie the cushions to the chair, so it doesn't slide. ;)
Hello Teacher!!!!! I like your works, write frontera Argentina. What is the angle of inclination of the backrest of the chair? 15 degrees?
Cool project, they turned out really cool 😎
Cheers
Tim from wood 4 nothing
Great Job!! How do I get the measurements?
Seems easy enough.i will try this project. Btw,have you tried making them to sell?
Eu amei esse projeto.vou fazer
Very good
Nice and comfortable. You need to build a crib and a swinging basket, (I think that's what they're called), for the baby.
Nice... thanks
Sehr gut! Mycke bra! (I don't have this little thing over the "a").
Parabéns pelo o seu trabalho
Muito lindo com esse material

Muito bom, Very good, Parabéns,
I love it
Nice chairs, I needed some pointers for my build thanks... Looking Good NM ( New Mom)...
very nice
I guess she said the angle she ended up using in the description. I built a chair and love seat not that long ago and wanted it to be pretty upright too, I made mine with a 10 degree back angle and I think it is comfortable.
Depois dizem que lugar de mulher é na cozinha... Discordo !
Seu trabalho ficou MUITO bonito !
Um Like com louvores... Parabéns ! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Gracias por compartir
Hello, very good!!!!
It appears you did not use glue. Is there a reason for that or as you say you just wanted it easy to take apart? Would there be any advantage to using glue? Do you sell plans?
Since she didn't utilize any protector either seems more like a quick DIY project on the general assembly of an exterior chair. Glue here would help with avoiding squeaking
as the wood ages and also fill the gaps where pieces are screwed together, protecting the area from the weather.
Linn that looks great 👍. I especially like the design and the ease of the build.
Are you going to be putting a finish on them or no?
Thanks for sharing
Thanks Roy! I'm going to put some polyurethane to protect them.
Another channel I watch uses a product from total boat to finish outside projects, looks like a good product
Put one stabilizer on the front 2 legs half way up or one third up to get some of the wiggle off the front arms when they and get up I saw them move when ur guest sat down.😀
Just stubled on your channel, great chairs, like to have my husband build some for us. Also did you make that planter box I see in the background of this video? And do you have a video on how to make them?
Hi Maria, here's the video on building the planter box: czcams.com/video/WLexzfEsc2Y/video.html
perfect
What can scrws did you use ?
Nice
YA STILL GOT IT KID.
Would it not be better if i cut the upper part of the back legs at an angle so the would fit better to the arm..
They are cut at an angle actually, not sure if it was that clear in the video.
One chair looks to have a gap under the arm which only touches at the back of both legs, the other chair look fine. You'll have to up-skill Hubby ;-)
Bruce Lee yes i was talking about those gaps between the legs and the arms.
When YOU build it, YOU can correct any "errors" you see.

Im so proud of you. Most women when pregnant give up there hard hobbies or anythink els and become lazy. You keep going x I watch your videos every time you put one up your an inspiration. Your voice is a bit huskie in this one hope your not coming down with anything. Stay well and hope to see next video soon xx
Thanks so much Kelly! Just getting better from a cold, that's why my voice sounded a little rough.
love your accent
What kind of wood did you use?
Simple but Elegant ^_^
When are you going to build a bassinet ?
Just a suggestion, but would it not be easier to use a router for the half lap joints?
All you need now is a little table that is attached between two seats
I like your chairs and your work shope ,, Really every thing is nice and interested ,,,,. I saw this video more than 10 times , will you please show me the dimensions of this chair ,, it is not clear in the video ....
Cool project. Are you going to paint them?
Thanks, I will use poly.
like a lot do you have plans?
There is a cut list in the description and the video helps to assemble.
Olá qual é as medidas das tábuas obrigado
The design looks just perfect for its intended purpose of lounging out on a nice day
Wowwwwww!!
Darwin approved. :)
Looks like Darwin is happy with them.
As cadeiras SÃO lindas como tu....
Quiciera en español, que fabuloso fuera
Very nice chairs! #PaoloBradaDIY
22 dislikes. Seriously? Jealous much? Hi there, just found your channel and soooo happy! Love your work! And pregnant on top? WOWZA!
HiI love your chair design. I think for strength you should use glue on the half lap joint.
Its a good thing you explained about Matt, or we would have been wondering about those hairy arms.
Yeah, pregnancy don't stop you ! That's fine !
👍😉

"Loungey" It's an industry term. :)
