    Love the project Linn. I think chairs are almost the perfect challenge for someone with ambitions to make furniture. Your approach of proto typing the chair to ensure comfort is a great technique we can all use. Thanks. Let's see more of Matt in the edit.

    Wonderful! New subscriber. I sprayed the lower legs of my Adirondack chairs with liquid rubber. It really helps.

    You could make yourself a maternity chair, you've earned it. A crib would be good also, these two things are things you could pass down. Also babies are quite resilient when it comes to noise.

    I really like your design. While I've always liked the look of Adirondack chairs, I've never liked sitting in them and this really does seem like a nice compromise. I think I'm going to give this a try.

    I'm thinking of making bench seats that wrap around the railing on my deck. I think this design could be easily adapted to work. I like how the materials are simple and standard. :)

    I noticed that you use Phillips head screw it took me a wile to switch as well but now that i use torks or star tip i will never go back nice chair !;-)Thankyou

    The chairs look very comfortable. Happy to see you still working! Don't forget that you will need to make a rocking chair after the baby is born. My wife always used the rocking chair to put our daughter to sleep.

    You just need a slide away footstool that slips/slides underneath. Lovely design and just what I have been looking for. If you don’t want to buy readymade cushions a competent DIYer or an upholsterer could make something bespoke. Love the video so much I have subscribed. 👍

    I guess she said the angle she ended up using in the description. I built a chair and love seat not that long ago and wanted it to be pretty upright too, I made mine with a 10 degree back angle and I think it is comfortable.

    It appears you did not use glue. Is there a reason for that or as you say you just wanted it easy to take apart? Would there be any advantage to using glue? Do you sell plans?

      Since she didn't utilize any protector either seems more like a quick DIY project on the general assembly of an exterior chair. Glue here would help with avoiding squeaking
      as the wood ages and also fill the gaps where pieces are screwed together, protecting the area from the weather.

    Put one stabilizer on the front 2 legs half way up or one third up to get some of the wiggle off the front arms when they and get up I saw them move when ur guest sat down.😀

    Would it not be better if i cut the upper part of the back legs at an angle so the would fit better to the arm..

      They are cut at an angle actually, not sure if it was that clear in the video.

      One chair looks to have a gap under the arm which only touches at the back of both legs, the other chair look fine. You'll have to up-skill Hubby ;-)
