I found your channel the other week and I've been binge watching ever since. I love your philosophy toward photography, and your videos are truly unique. I'm not sure there's another photographer online that inspires me to go out and shoot intentionally more than you, so thank you!!
That is such a kind comment! I am so glad you found your way here :)
I like that fella coming out like "cheeeeese...." He knows whats up. Lol.
Underrated film photography channel. Great shots with interesting backstory of subjects. Keep up the good work and love the passion.
Thank you my friend!
Glorious sunshine and pure snow. Combined with charismatic old buildings and gentlemen. What else can a photographer ask for? I like your dedication and the way you revisit and re-examine the same locations.
I appreciate that, Martin! I will be doing a video soon about that very subject
Another beautiful video, Robbie. The pace, the music, the images... I really enjoy coming along these unpretentious photographic adventures - it's their un-hyped tone that makes them so extraordinary to me. I hope to see new ones coming for a long time.
Thank you buddy! There will be plenty more coming
Beautiful work-both photography and your videos, as usual. Your art definitely touches the soul, and your videos are always peaceful moments in the day when they I watch them. Thanks, Robbie. 🙏
You're too kind! :)
Really enjoying these calm vibes 🔥
Outstanding work. I appreciate your honest voice, and your personal insights on your experiences getting out to capture and create new images. It’s refreshing and encouraging! Keep up the great work.
Thank you, John! Im glad you came to hangout for a bit
Love the vibe and atmosphere of your videos! It's simple and captivating, can't wait for TEX-PAN 3
Thanks bud!
Always a pleasure to watch Robbie 🙏🏻
Always a pleasure to have you!
Glad to see you’re out having fun in the snow and getting some nice images.
Always, Jim!
Love your winter videos, the colours with the snow and sun are gorgeous, way different to the part of the world I call home. Cheers for sharing!
Thank you for hanging!
I really enjoy seeing your approach toward shooting these locations that are (somewhat) familiar. Great stuff! Thanks
Thank you, Mike!
Thankyou yet again from Northern Spain, I am purchasing a 6x17 roll film back for my Horseman FA45 5x4 camera because of the beauty in your panoramic photos.
It’s strange how a person can be inspired influenced by someone else on the other side of the world.
that is pretty amazing. I really appreciate you hanging out. Let me know how the 6x17 back is!
Just starting my photography journey, so I picked up a used Canon T7, a 50mm, a 28mm, and I'm overcoming the usual hurdles new photographers have! Love your work Robbie, keep it up
Thank you! Stick to your convictions, my friend! Enjoy the process
Enjoyed your video as always Robbie. I think it is the fact that your videos are always well crafted, the choice of music good and you keep your video simple and focussed without the need to add gimmicks to get clicks. Well done, keep up the great work.
Thank you, Stephen!
The music you've created has totally upped your overall production value so much!
I love that. I can't tell you how hard it is to find the right song.. well, I think I have told you through a bunch of DMs lol
You have! Get that Gen Loss ASAP! @@RobbieMaynardCreates
Great stuff! The overall feel of your videos is so relaxing and inspiring.
Glad you enjoyed it!
as always, such good photos. I love the colors throughout this video.
Thank you so much!
Thank you Robbie, loe your work and easy style of getting it done.
Git-r-done ;)
Another great video, and some more fantastic work! I'm sure that print will look really great!
Perhaps on your wall!?!? eh?? maybe.. lol
@@RobbieMaynardCreates that would be awesome!
I started shooting film a few years ago on and off but this past year I've been making it a priority. I came across your work from the Analog Talk podcast and I'm so glad I decided to follow you on CZcams. Even on those days when I don't want to do anything you inspire me to get out and shoot. Thank you for all that you do!
Thats so sweet! Im glad I could help.
Always look forward to your videos! You do great work!
Thank you, Claire!
I watch your videos while high sometimes and it brings this emmense, almost _indescribable_ feeling of peace and tranquility. Keep doing what you're doing, man. You're killing it.
Thank you bud!
I really liked your answer to the “why don’t you just crop in post?” question. We’ve got so many different examples and clichés about how limitations can inspire or help the creative process, but it seems to be a lesson we need to keep learning over and over again.
I really appreciate that, Erik!
Love the channel. Just started watching about a month ago and can’t get enough. I’m just up in NH so I love seeing the New England representation. You’ve got a real Bob Ross of photography feel. Thank you for sharing your journey with us!
haha that might be my new favorite comment
Great shots. Great atmosphere. Looking forward to more Tex Pan and panorama videos.
More to come!
This has quickly become one of my favorite photography channels about process and intention.
Thank you buddy!
Enjoy your videos. Just the right length and interesting content. Well done!
haha I was actually debating on cramming more stuff in at the end
Another relaxed session of photography to enjoy, thanks for sharing your journey 👍
always, Chris!
This aspect ratio is so nice! A good switch up from the norm!
a little change never hurt anyone, right?! lol
@@RobbieMaynardCreates no doubt man!
I just love the way you create these videos- just another fantastic outing
Thanks, Michael!
Best photography content out there robbie
Thank you! :)
Thanks! Great inspiration ! Always something new.
Thanks!
Sweet shots! Also good on you for looking out for that guy!
Thank you!
Thats a sick shot to make a print of! I think what I appreciate most about your channel is that there is a steady growth as a photographer which eliminates the need to "one up" each video by doing silly crap. It's real, it has imperfections (while still containing really good work!) and that actually makes watching your stuff more inspiring and motivating than the latest hot shot youtuber that has it all dialled in and waxed. Anyway, keep it up bro, and well done with the music👌🏻
I appreciate this, friend! Cheers!
Another great video Robbie, not been out with my Tex pan for a while now, you have give me that itch again.
haha love to hear it!
You're the reason I want that GW690 so badly Robbie :)
maan the channel is so underrated, I mean the production, the narrative and of course the photography are top level!
beautiful video as always, keep up the great work!
I really appreciate it!
so peacfully pleacent!! you are such an inspiration, great work!!!
Thank you bud!
Love your work, absolutely stunning video in your channel ❤
Thanks Bobo!
Another great video. Love your photography
Thanks so much!
lovely production and story telling
Thanks!
Beautiful work!
Thank you! Cheers!
Just stumbled acros this video and really liked both the Photos and the music! Really great job!
Thanks so much!
Enjoy your ingenuity, style. Good work
Thank you, James!
love your recent pano videos - and that Haberman's building is an icon by now for sure.
I hope it stays there forever but like most old buildings. They have a tendency to get lost
Awesome, Robbie. Keep it up!
Thanks mate!
So inspiring! I envy you actually get up in the morning and do this..!:)
haha its not easy but its a livin.
Another fantastic video with fantastic images!
Thanks bud!
Found your page when I started looking into purchasing a Mamiya 645 and have been sub'd ever since. Always look forward to the next video. Keep it up man! 🤘
I appreciate that!
Nice video, I liked the pic of Mt Sugarloaf. Awesome to see pioneer valley photography represented on CZcams!
Hell yeah! Thank you buddy
great content. Love the color work you did on your video. Very creative photographing.
Thank you so much!
Some fantastic shots as always my guy. 👍
Much appreciated
I have the the GSW690 also and your videos are inspiring me to make the changes to 35mm. The pix look great!
Thanks!
Thanks for another awesome video!
Glad you like them!
Another great vid. I enjoy watching your vids
When I'm in a creative rut, I'll tune to ur channel, and it lifts me up....
aww aint you sweet!
One benefit of cropping into the 6x9 frame is the ability to shift the crop across the frame, allowing compositions with straight lines by cropping the pano aspect ratio at the bottom or top.
That is a nice benefit but I'd rather focus on what I want rather than tinker too much in post
Keep on with the fantastic content. I’m just getting back into photography after a 20yr break & love your channel. One of your prints would also fit perfectly into the new darkroom in setting up, something I’ve never done before even with my old Nikon’s & films but listening to you talk about processing your films made me want to try. Thanks for everything you do to make these films
Thank you so much, Simon! I am happy to hear that you are jumping back into it!
Inspired me to try the same with my GW690 II, thanks Robbie keep em coming!
Of course!
Excellent! You got some great light. I've been iced in since the first week of January ,until two days ago when i finished a roll of Ektar.
Damn! I honestly have been struggling to get motivated the last month. Dealing with the Flu and cold.. its been a mess but its been nice to make music while I brood lol
Great work!!
Thanks
So good, Robbie
Thank you!
Just getting to shoot film stock beyond what is available in 120 is also great as you get more variety in 35mm to adapt. Love the Tex-Pan stuff.
also a great point!
Love the video and the light-streak photo😊. I need to get my Tex-Pan set up for 135 and try making some panos this weekend!
You should!
really enjoyable videos!
Really glad I stumbled on your channel...very inspiring, even though I shoot digital I still come away with something that I can use in my work...love the cinematic panos!
I love that! Thank you!
It's great that you write your own music. I'm always amazed at the amount of photographers on YT who use stock music as a soundtrack to their pictures. I understand the constraints of copyright etc. But it not as if one couldn't collaborate with a musician (there are a lot out there). I think photographers who don't, do themselves a disservice. It would be like if I posted my own music to a backdrop of Getty images.
When it comes to posting on CZcams, its nearly impossible to go any other route than sub based music services. Its convenient and the artist are great. I have taken the start of winter to play more.
Really great work! You've inspired me to shoot 35mm in my own gsw690
Good to hear!
You're content is so calming. You've come a long way. You're work heavily leans towards a fantastic documentary style. Not sure if you've considered it, but I'd be very interested in seeing you release a long-form documentary. You definitely have the skill and the chops.
I appreciate that. I'm a firm believer in learning. Maybe someday I will get there but maybe not. That's ok too :)
Another great video, particularly loved the shot with the lady crossing the street near Habermans. Honestly don’t think I would be dedicated enough to be out in those temperatures!😂
That was my favorite too! Im glad you liked it, Kate :)
Lovely !
Many thanks!
Nice work as usual Robbie
Thank you bud!
Yes, more Texpan, just what the doctor ordered!
LOL
Another beautiful and inspiring video from Robbie! You're making me want to take out my GL690 and shoot. I bought it a few weeks ago and it had a super strong disinfectant smell. It's been airing out with activated charcoal bags all around it since I got it, but I might have to tough it out and run some film through it.
haha its kinda funny how some cameras smell funny. They adopt their owners scents. Im sure mine smell like Ombre Leather and Cigars
I always said thank you for your hard work and showing a little bit of my Holyoke love it keep it up brother 💪
Always my friend! Im glad you have stuck around :)
@@RobbieMaynardCreates like your work I be stuck for ever 😅
After watching a couple of your clips, I got the spark reignited to take my 35mm to 120mm roll adapters out of their plastic bag, and into my RB67. Haven't used them in years, and after getting comfortable with the beast, I think it's time it sees some 35mm Portra :))
And if it's one thing I'd recommend, is double check your videos before uploading, because the auto-stabilization is messing up some of the footage, creating a wobble effect. No quick way of fixing it, sometimes you have to get in there by hand.
Very inspiring vids. Thank you!
Texpan series is so good!
You know I love it
Very cool, I’m getting more and more tempted to pick up a GW690
Do it!
love watching your videos
Glad you like them!
Excellent video 🎉
Thank you very much!
love your stuff buddy, keep it up.
Thank you!
Enjoyed this! I have recently been shooting 35mm panoramic on my Pentax 67 and really enjoying the format!
Isn't it fun?!
Hey Robbie... Not 'just' commenting because of the print... 😉 But your work is beautiful... truly. Really like the vibe of the videos as well... really chill. Thank you!
You can't fool me, John. I am onto you! lol
I like that print !!!
Thanks!
God that photo would look so different than anything I can make here in Ireland and a great talking point for my visitors sure love to own it. Enjoyable video as usual
Thats lovely to hear!
Always inspired to go shoot after seeing your videos Robbie!
Thank you so much!
Totally agree that even the feel of shooting with 35mm is completely different to cropping 120mm
Right? Where's the fun or challenge if I can just change it all?
Music is awesome btw
thats what im talking about!
You’re a great musician too!! ☺️
Thank you, Raul!
your video are so peaceful, subscribed!
Thanks!
Your work ethic is to be commended. Images are complimented with your own sounds. Great work and so well done.
I wish you wonder from downunder ; Aotearoa (NZ).
Thank you buddy! Cheers!
great shots
Thanks!
Great video. I have a gsw690 (1) but haven't tried it yet. This makes me want to take it out and shoot a roll. Thanks.
No time like the present!
Perfect timing, I just shot it on the roll in my texpan too😅 I was struggling to find landscape so I particularly liked for pano but just left it in the back of my car and took a photo here or there
Honestly, that's the best way to do it
Inspiring to use medium format camera with 35mm rolls :) Love your genuine approach to photography.
Thank you buddy!
Hi, Robbie.
You are doing a heck of a job, my friend.
And there is no digital camera that comes near your pano photos.
I really enjoy looking at your work, my friend.
Antoine (the Netherlands)
I always enjoy your videos! I shot a couple of rolls of 35mm film in a Horseman 6x9 back last fall and loved the results, however I shredded my shoulder doing something stupid 😢. As soon as I recover I'll be out to shoot some more panos!
Speedy recovery my friend!
Great video. I would also add that when using a pano kit and 35mm it can open up more film stocks not made in 120 film.
100% agree! Now if only they were affordable. My original idea was to shoot Cinestill 800T at night but at almost 17 bucks a pop... it makes it a little harder to hit the buy button
I was just at the Oxbow this past weekend hoping to run into you. The houses there are their own kind of world and I took a few shots on the 124g. This time of the year with the (melting) snow its a mood for sure.
It really is - dont get stuck out there!
I never though of panoramic images as a still from a movie, but this is an interesting thought. I am shooting panos for quite a few years now and I have come to the point that I can "see" them in the scene.
I feel that way too. Though, I have only been doing it for a short time on the 6x9. Once you know what you want to focus on, the rest is easy
