01:07 Blood Talons, The Destroyer Wolves
05:22 Bone Shadows, The Death Wolves
10:06 Hunters in Darkness, The Black Wolves
15:15 Iron Masters, The Red Wolves
19:38 Storm Lords, The Winter Wolves - Zábava
Good job on the five Werewolf tribes of the Moon or the Uratha my friend. Imagine the Garou (Werewolf: The Apocalypse) meet the Uratha (Werewolf: The Forsaken) by entering the Umbra into another world by accident or by surprising each other by no other means. Just a thought of opinion and imagination.
Would be an interesting meetup.
Garou: We worship Gaia.
Uratha: We don't.
Garou: Grrrrrrrrr....
@@lazarofstygia2241 and thus the garou commited yet another genocide.
@@lazarofstygia2241 it'd be funnier if it was like "we worship Gaia" "who?"
@@lazarofstygia2241 Are you gonna eventually do a video on The Pure and maybe other creatures in this setting?
Love the use of the Wolf Among Us soundtrack! I always felt Fables and the Wolf Among Us fit World of Darkness quite well.
A surprise but a welcomed one.
Very happy to see this. I'm using a pack of Uratha as npcs in my requiem game. Player "accidentally" try to rob them not knowing what they really were lol
I like that the tribal totems all wolves just different personalities
Your voice is therapy man. Please more VTM videos! God bless you bro!
More Werewolf the Forsaken content please! This was great!
Another good speed run breakdown.
I suppose that the Pure tribes aren't of the Moon, so they wouldn't fit here. I really like them as antagonists though, even for other game lines. The Ivory Claws are basically supremacists who believe that only their pure blood produces the right sort of werewolf. They delight in causing pain and attacking from unanticipated angles. They are the sort of the werewolf that you'd get in a horror movie where a small town is creepily tight-knit and you find out that they are all in on the horror.
The Fire-touched are religious extremists. They are fanatical in their hatred of the Forsaken and their devotion to their totemic spirits. They cannot knowingly lie, but that doesn't stop them from spreading the madness that they firmly believe. They are a violent cult, essentially.
The Predator Kings are bestial. They are primal hunters who violently reject humanity, especially the trappings of modern life. They want to return the world to the time of Urfarah, one with a more permeable barrier between spirit and material. They are the beasts; the werewolves in movies that just show up to kill people and drive them away from their territories.
Thank you for Upload :)
Good stuff. Thank you.
So this is the werewolf equivalent of VTR, correct? Why was it that the Chronicles of Darkness books didn’t do as well as Old World of Darkness across every one of the books? Lore just not as good?
Kinda from my understanding it was the fact that it was more crunchy on the mechanics side which some view as people being more able to game the system which is stupid because you could already do that in old world of darkness to a certain extent and yes some people didn’t like the new lore and stayed with the older stuff but yeah a bit of columns A and B
Lorewise the 2e chronicles are better
Just my opinion, but since the start of all the game lines, each following editions carried over most or almost all of the the lore concerning that specific game. With each new edition the metaplot continued with some game mechanic changes being made. After over a decade of lore and systems relatively staying the same, wiping the slate clean and starting from scratch was, for some, a hard pill to swallow. Some people however enjoyed the new take, others did not. I'm an Old World of Darkness fan that just shrugged off the changes and focused on the 20th Anniversary Edition line of games. But nothing is stopping people from homebrewing newer edition concepts into older edition games. I for one love some of the plot changes in Vampire 5th Edition, but still retain the old disciplines and game mechanics from 20th edition.
The games actually sold fine, but the fans of WoD who were angry about the end of the old games were very vocal and frankly the cultural zeitgeist that really let WoD take off in the first place had passed and the genre the games dabbled in had evolved as well.
I'll throw in my 2 cents but I think it was the art direction. All the old WoD books have really great flavor art and lots of it. The newer IPs seemed to lack that. You can go 15 pages in Mage the Awakening with no art, just pages and pages of text.
a new video excellent.
Enjoy!
I have almost like all of the play Guides of werewolf The Forsaken.
Do a video on Samuel Haight, please lore daddy.
The Skinner is on the list.
@@lazarofstygia2241 Lore Senpai noticed me!
I can die happy now.
The ash tray ? Its made of pure munchkinium.
Yeah i too like WtF more then WtA it is as you say far more focused
What is the name of the song in the video?
How does this relate to werewolf the apocalypse
Two different settings and different races of werewolf.
You think theres less ambiguity?? I think the problem with wta is that it so straightforward tha ends up being simple
I was hoping you were gonna do WTF
great to see you uploading more frequently, but would be nice if you focused on covering more owod than chronicles.
there are plenty of aspects about owod that could still be covered and explained for both vampire and werewolf (not to mention changeling and demon stuff, granted the latter wasn't all that successful) before jumping onto a brand new setting.

*Sabbat Civil Wars please?*
Probably as part of a larger Sabbat video.
@@lazarofstygia2241
I appreciate that. Another thought, I don't know if Shorts are actually good for growing channels or not, but a quick overview of something like the Sabbat Civil Wars might make for a good one?
@@lazarofstygia2241
Or you could do three, each with a quick overview of each War
*Hunter Conspiracies and Compacts?*
Coming soon.
@@lazarofstygia2241
Which is your favorite?
I prefer the old Apocalypse tribes to be honest
The Old WoD is the only WoD for me
The Old World of Darkness is in fact the only World of Darkness, this one is called Chronicles of Darkness
Eh I'm the opposite of Lazar of Stygia I have absolutely no interest in werewolf The Forsaken and I love werewolf the Apocalypse the only thing that interests me about werewolf The Forsaken is the wolf blooded but that's it.
