You forgot to mention the summer weather there. The Danes call it "Danish summer". In other parts of the world they call it a rained out summer. You wanna move to Denmark? Buy a good rain coat and some wellington boots. You'll need them.
I was pickpocketed in Esbjerg by the local Dane playing blindman, I shared to Police exact time and ATM location where he tried to use my card under a camera. They did just nothing, Police in Denmark would rather come to Scandic for a free breakfast, but otherwise they do not care. The "happiness" of Danes comes from not raising the bar or what is expressed by the Laws of Jante. Emigrants have a very hard time trying to blend in and mostly fail.
