3 very ripe bananas, (medium/large) ½ cup unsalted butter, (8 Tbsp) at room temperature 3/4 cup granulated sugar 2 large eggs, lightly beaten 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp baking soda ½ tsp salt ½ tsp vanilla extract 1 cup walnuts ½ cup raisins
In the mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Mix in mashed bananas and eggs. Whisk together dry ingredients: flour, salt, and baking soda and add to batter. Stir in vanilla, walnuts, and raisins, transfer to prepared loaf pan and bake.
I made this recipe adding cinnamon & pecans. No raisins, no walnuts. I baked them into 12 muffins. I used no cupcakes liners because we prefer the browned crust all over the muffins. Best banana nut bread recipe ever! I highly recommend it.
@@bd328 I can tolerate raisins in kitchen sink cookies, or everything cookies, but in banana bread or 7 layer bars I don't mess with raisins. A handful of raspberries goes well with the melty chocolate chips instead ❤️
@@Prettytemp Whole Foods makes a jumbo nut cookies with raisins and its amazing! But for banana bread I prefer a handful of raspberries for the fruit/walnut/chocolate flavor profile ❤️
I add blueberries and a cup of rolled oats to my banana bread. I soak the dried blueberries in room temperature chai. The plumped up blueberries (and a 1/2 cup of the chai add a delicious spice and warmth to the banana bread. The oats help absorb some of the liquid and make the bread not as sickly sweet as some other banana bread recipes. I make a double batch and it still disappears incredibly fast!
Hi Natasha, Thanks for the recipe, I have so many Bananas left over and now I can make this instead doing my usual throw them in the freezer routine ✨️
I made this recipe more than 100 times in last few years. Always a super hit! My daughter love to take it to her dorm, all her friends love it. Thank you ❤
love the recipe and the video but if your toothpick comes out completely clean then you’ve over baked your banana bread / whatever other bread you’re making. the toothpick should come out with just a couple crumbs, with nothing wet on the toothpick. remember they will still continue to bake internally until their temp drops
Wooww!! It looks so good and more delicious banana bread🤩😋 I can't wait to make your version my Chef idol Natasha, I try it steam! Thank you so much for sharing your delicious recipe..!♥️♥️♥️

Starting my fourth week of chemotherapy and radiation for throat cancer of all things. Just getting to the point of having a difficult time swallowing solid foods. (I’m thinking next week, for the last two weeks I’ll be bolus feeding through a G tube) This will be watching your channel and what I’m going to cook once I can eat again. I’ve always enjoyed your smiling face and how much fun you’ve made every video to watch. Got some really ripe bananas. If I can make it moist enough, I hope I can eat it. LOL! Hope you and your family are doing well. As always, thanks for posting your awesome videos!
Thanks so much for your message and for sharing that with us. I hope you’ll be able to find some recipes that will work for you. Hoping for your recovery, bless you. ❤️
@@cari8282 hey Cari! It’s the darnest thing. I feel better now than I did pre-cancer. Losing 60 pounds (put back on 20 since I started eating again) or losing the ability to create a normal amount of saliva, so I’m constantly drinking water. (Like 2 gallons a day) But I never have any aches or pains, I haven’t had a headache since I got done with chemo and radiation, just feel better than what I considered “normal” pre-cancer. Without the normal production of saliva, some foods just taste wrong. Anything sugary is just…. bad, and bread isn’t good either. So maybe between the water consumption, no sugar or bread, or very little, I’ve just gotten healthier. But October, November and December I was the sickest man in Atlanta. Thanks for checking in on me!
@@jeffhenderson3318 happy to hear you are doing better. I hope that the months to come are the best one. The important thing is that you are still here with us. I pray you have a full recovery. Best wishes to you ❤️

At what temperature n for how many minutes did you bake the cupcakes for?
'Raisins' is a weird way to pronounce chocolate chips 😅❤
😂 just try the right type of raisins or maybe it’s dried cranberries but do try😋

Good and yummy❤
Wonderful 😁
If you guys plan on refrigerating your bread, you should use oil instead of butter. The butter will dry this out once it solidifies.
We let it come back to room temperature if we refrigerate
Nice ❤
Natasha also for got the baking temperature and time!!!
The bananas should be riper than that for optimal sweetness but it'll still be good at least they arent green
💜💜💜
add shaved chocolate after half the batter in pan.
great tip! we add chocolate chips sometimes. :)
Yum
