    Great video, Numisman!! Very nice job of explaining and showing what to look for. Although I’ve been aware of many of these varieties for a while, I’ve got some checking to do on on some recent pickups. Your video will be extra helpful. Thanks

      Sandie Peace You got the right idea. Most people through them back cause it's so common, but I save them cause it's so common and has so many varieties. Most of them are not worth a whole lot. But it's great practice training your eyes to spot doubled dies and RPMs and to really get a grasp on what each class of doubled die looks like. I just went through mine the other day, and I couldn't believe now many varieties I was able toatch up. Oh I did do proofs Philly's and dinvers just seems easier for me that way. Brian's variety coins is the website I recommend to search Jefferson's and to have them atributed if you find anything valuable. He attributes for Wexler so he is legit

      It depends on how busy they are and what service tier you choose(to pay for), it also depends on the type of coin you send. anywhere from a week to a month. In most cases 3 to 6 weeks from end to end.

    Many years ago I found a 1943P Nickel in excellent condition what really caught my attention was that it appears to be nearly all Copper not silver like the war time nickels were supposed to be. I’ve taken special care of it as that got me interested in coin collecting that was 50 years ago. It wasn’t mentioned here of a 1943P error coin like the one I have but I saw a different show about the Jefferson nickels that did talk about this error being found before but is apparently very rare. I would like to found out the best way for me to sell it as I need extra money as soon as I can sell some items and am hoping my 1943P Copper Jefferson Nickel will bring enough for my upcoming unexpected bills . Any advice and or help in how to proceed or who to contact would be greatly and even monetarily appreciated when I get it sold. Thank you.

    • @worldnumismaticnews
      @worldnumismaticnews  Před 5 lety

      That's a tough question to answer, but if you are concerned about making a return on your grading fees, then I'd say get it slabbed if you think it will get at least an AU grade, definately if you will see an MS grade. But anything under that you may just want to keep it raw.

    Love the new sound quality. I have a suggestion/question. Do you have a PO box for your CZcams channel? People like what you are doing and don't be surprised if they send you gifts. No offense but I see the sad state of some of your coins. What you're doing is really cool and when people see a young person doing something cool like you are, they want to help you along your way. Don't beg like some channels do. Just kinda mention your PO box and like that if anyone wants a shout out or to send you anything.
    I had a few other ideas but thought against sharing them now. We all like your videos so I wouldn't change too much about them. If I check in tomorrow and you have click bait and fancy editing and show a bunch of coins nobody has any chance of ever finding, well I'll probably unsubscribe. 😁 Just keep making videos and get some better coins kid you're making me sad. Get a PO box and I'll send you some stuff.

      Mark Yost You go man! Get those sweet coins. Sure it's one you could buy for not that expensive. But when you find it searching straight up pocket change, that's the silver wartime nickel you'll cherrish the most just cause you found it that way. It's a great feeling. I find like 1 in a whole box of nickels. And maybe 2 buffalos. It's awesome of course and I'm not complaining. But it's nothing like finding something amazing in pocket change. It's just that much sweeter.

      Well, if the mint mark is not present then it merely indicates that the coin was minted at the Philadelphia mint. And with those dates, unless you have variety coins they are not really considered scarse to be honest. Hope this helps.
