I've been very interested in car audio since before I got my license. I had a full system before I was when sixteen or had a car. I'm 43 now. Because of watching this channel the last two years. I am more knowledgeable than ever before. My current setup which is one l7q 12" on 700-1000 watts depending on my mood is louder than any system I've owned before. My go to over the years was 2 12's. Unless I decided to fix up my old Lincoln continental I'll never go back. One 12 is more than enough.
You made a very good point. Just because a sub is rated to handle more power doesn’t mean it’s better. It means it can dissipate more heat and more power doesn’t mean louder.
M.B. you have made so many people happy in SUV type vehicles thru the 8" L7 equalizer as up until then peoples in trucks SUVs options were only the whack 6" truck box with equally appalling cheap high end horn. One of these days you need to feature your 8s in front and some 15s for donk B-Body and other vehicles with large trunks (needed given all subs below 100hz or so can't be passed thru seat). We've seen all the cars with nothing but 18s filling up entire compartment but I know you got the skills to make the extra icing on the cake by the extra sub placed in trunk and still have vehicle function so you can take your family on vacation etc.❤
Sorry to hear about your US Distributer previously. When I went to the big shows they all seem pretty cool to me. I do see some differences of opinion but Im learning for everyone, and not just in car audio. Home and Pro Audio too. If it wasnt for the Qclass L7s Id be looking at B2 as well. I would be curious in the micro amps and the 33” is a megabeast! Though the 18” Solo X is on my bucket list.
