But country that share very similar with korea are east asia countries like china, taiwan, japan. For us, our culture is extrmely similar with southeast asian countries singapore, indonesia, brunei. To consider rude no laa.. Tp to say its originally our culture open present infront the giver also not correct. Maybe in the past it feels like awkward if the person open present on the spot. But nowadays, its understandable.
