This is a critique of Gary Owen's, the "Limon Pepper Lover", Sunday afternoon Jacksonville Florida show. It's going to be long, but Gary, I hope you appreciate it and everyone watching, this is what you need to know about Gary Live. First, I'm very happy to see you give the young man (Mailman) the opportunity to shine as an opener for your shows. He did very well as an opener for you. He has a great stage presence and very good delivery of his jokes. He is fortunate to be under your tout ledge. As for Gary's set. He was absolutely awesome. We know that his stage presence is awesome. We see that, but it's the things that we don't see that were so impressive. As an entertainer myself, I know the frustration of having people in the audience do things that are disruptive while you are performing. The key is to get them to stop what they are doing without getting upset and being brutal. Gary put on a master class this weekend. There was a woman videotaping the show and not only was Gary able to get her to stop, but he did it in a very sweet and hilariously funny way. That takes a LOT of skill. That being said, I understand why she was taping. I truly wish that I could relive that evening. I would pay for that. There was also a woman heckler in the crowd. Those of us sitting near her were incredibly annoyed by her antics, UNTIL! Gary started engaging her. Gary turned the whole situation into the MOST HILARIOUS BIT! I was truly in tears most of the show. You are simply awesome Gary. Congratulations on your success. For the record, I am the one that told you about the Money at the court.
