Flash chill that shot by pouring it in a glass bottle and slowly cooling it down by rinsing the bottle under running cold water while gradually shaking it. Literally the best cinnamon infused espresso I've ever had and made. It goes really well with milk, with or without sugar. It even tastes good without milk as an Americano.
You might as well just make brown sugar simple syrup and not worry about having to dissolve anything. The instant coffee will do fine in cold water and be less watered down when chili it.

If you use cold water to dissolve the instant coffee before you put in the hot water, it doesn't burn the instant coffee. It makes it taste a lot better

Dude, this is a variation on the Greek Frappé, the only difference is the cinnamon.....(which I will try). And I agree, use cold water. And when you use a mixer, you do not need a shaker and the foam stays more stable too. The trick is not adding milk untill the very end (like you did).

A little tip for everyone using instant coffee, putting it directly into hot water will actually burn the coffee crystals, making it taste burned/bitter, thats one of the reasons instant gets such a bad rap. If you mix it first into a small amount of room temp water, or milk if you use that in your coffee, then add the hot water, it makes it taste a lot better.
