I've got Touch Lux 3 for more than six years. I hoped new generations of PB readers would be significantly faster but as I see the responsiveness hasn't changed almost at all.

It definitely looks really well made. I’m curious to know what the selection in their store is like. So I’ll investigate that.

Use translate: ma kaptam meg, és vissza is küldtem; pixelhibásan érkezett. Rendkívül lassú, a fizikai billentyűk recsegnek ropognak, egyszóval hangosak. A kijelölt szöveg megosztása is rendkívül egyszerű. Nincs sok lehetőség. Nagy csalódás ért. Az előző e-book olvasom amazon kindle, 4 éves, de megbízhatóbb volt. Ez az én véleményem. Senkinek a kedvét nem szerettem volna elrontani.

Please compare this with the PocketBook predecessors to have an idea if it is worth to upgrade :) And, any idea about actual release date?

Hi. Its been a while but I'm mainly interested in importing manga from my computer specificaly. Is the process easy? Would you recommended instead of kobo sage for example?
    Thanks in advance!

One of the few devices that can be used as a digital library in my country, Slovenia. The price is ludicrous for our standards, though, so Kindle remains dominant.

Very interesting device for me to replace my kobo h2o , i received it , there is quite all I need ( good 7,8 300 DPI screen , audio output for audio books -not so good - night mode, some good gesture and easy transfer off ebook with a Mac ) ,BUT, the interface and note and underline is slow and buggy , and sometimes it freezes , I think I ll send it back and try the boox nova air 2
Thank, you, for your very good videos !

Did you end up returning the reader or keeping with it?
If you kept it how is it now?
If you changed, what did you end up with?
      Thanks.

I'm still using my Kobo Aura One from 2016. Good screen size. Would like the Sage, not sure about battery tho.
I use an old smartphone with a BT headset for my audio books.
My wife has a Libra 2. Wonderful screen, but I'm used to a larger one.

got the inkpad4 recently and coming from an H2O. reader is fine BUT not font customization possible, nor reading statistics, and dictionnaries are very limited. Will go to an Android based one probably, and check battery life.

I'm debating between the inkpad 3 pro and this new 4. How does loading your own books work? I've had a kindle for forever so i'm used to emailing them over but i absolutely need to load by own epubs. Beyond that, when you do load your own epubs, how are they displayed? I know it seems like such a nit picky thing but i HATE that kindle can't recognise my epubs as "books" and instead sees them as "documents" and has trouble formatting them as books and displaying the covers. Also how does organisation work? Can i group series together? sort by author? etc

Tbh, it’s basically plug and play. Once you’ve connected it to the pc or Mac, you can just drag and drop. There are softwares like Calibre, where you can artwork, reviews etc but it’s not necessary. Hope it answered your question

Nice Review thanks a lot. I’m looking for a new Device. Actually I reed on the iPad mini 6th gen. What’s your Daily Driver. Do you recommend the Pocketbook Inkpad or ist the iPad mini a good alternative to read something. I come from Germany there is the Tolino a popular Device but I don’t like the software so much. Kobo is a nice reader but when I load an ePub I can’t set up the text style and I don’t know why. It’s an ePub file I can open it but I can’t customize the text. Ok kindle is a nice reader with an excellent software on the other side there is the Amazon ecosystem. I like a free system there I can load eBooks without converting. Maybe you can help me to find the ride System an the right reader. Thanks a lot for your nice content. Greetings from Germany

Stop thinking as it is running Android trash. The OS used by PocketBook is much more resource efficient, stable and does what it needs to be done, it doesn't need high-end specs to run smoothly, unlike Android. Think of PocketBook as the Apple (back then) of eReader. Their OS is tailored ONLY for their devices, therefore no bloatwares, no need to support everyone's hardware, like Android does, that means smaller code and resources needed. Iirc my first macbook had only 8GB RAM while my workstation had 64GB of RAM.

      1. It is not okay but prices will always increase. There must be some reason, for example in production cost or material used. Or there are slight upgrades that are not written on paper.
      2. Yes it has a browser.
      3. Not sure. PDF tend to not scale good with smaller eReaders. Maybe try get 10" screen ones.
