Since u put title in the thumbnail, u gained a lot of subs, keep going sifu
I drive a 10 year old Suzuki Swift (I'm the first owner) and still love it everyday. Mileage 140k.
Only 140k??
Bought my Swift brand new and it is already 10 years old, time flies and i still love driving it.. Every time after driving Civic 1.5 turbo, getting back into the Swift and having that steering feedback feels good..
I have a 2010 Suzuki Swift and I enjoy driving it more than my 2018 Mazda CX5 =]
Bobby, you give very accurate reviews. Congrats !
Previously had both the swift and SX4 for my family and they were very good cars with good respond and easy maintenance. Thumbs Up.
had a 2014 swift, first mod was replacing the tyre with 205/50/r16 michelin ps4, feels like a whole new world to me. then replaced the busted suspension few years later with tein flez x, and the entire car totally transform into something i cannot use word to describe, every weekend wanna drive out to ulu yam or touge route because of its superb handling upgrade. recently installed stiff ring aka rigid collar, and it brings the driving enjoyment to another level with improved
rigidity and comfort due to less harshness brought by the hard suspension tune, till this day the only car that can replace the swift are mini jcw and gt86, which is my next upgrade wishlist.
Sounds like huge fun. One thing I like about the swift more than Mini and 86 for its low-key status. It's a simple sleeper.
This comment read my mind! Haha..proud owner for 9years swift
The rather heavy steering makes the whole driving experience way more enjoyable ☺️
Indeed Still see many of this Zippy in SGP as well with some mod it wiht CAI and loud bang pang exhaust pipes
Remembered driving this gen of my x-colleague & drove fast in highway. It was driver's car, so does 2nd gen owned by my dad
There's sports version with 6speed manual...
I owned a 2013 Swift. Comfortable, sharp ride and handling, and reliable. Back then it was RM73K for premium but Im satisfied with it as we should compare with Jazz and Mazda 2 not Myvi.
Nice, do you know how it compares to Mazda2 and Jazz in terms of handling, feel and fun? I like how the Swift seems more oldschool and mechanical than the other two cars.
@@ricetheories i bought swift in 2008 instead of Jazz or Yaris (of the same year) in my opinion, Swift wins on its agility and nimbleness. While Jazz wins on its engine (IDSI & VTEC),also its roomy cabin with magic seats. Yaris wins on it subtle driving experience and compartments. Well Mazda 2 is a new line up of engine (Skyactive) after a decade of the earlier Jazz and Swift models. It produces punchy and strong vibe but I think, it is up to individualI preferences. I bought Swift bcz it was the cheapest among three..but it has given me great fun experience until the very last bit before I sold it for Proton Persona after 10.yrs (which I must say.... shame on me...& how much I regret it )
The Kizashi looks so good as well..
Malaysia deserves to have the new Swift RS. Great driving thing
My dream car ;w; planning to get it in the future when I can afford it!
Still enjoy very much driving my 2005 CBU 1.5L Suzuki Swift bought for 85k then.
Thanks Uncle
I owned Gen1 Swift and I love it until today.. The experienced cannot get from other car. 😍 the cons only the back and boots space, others no issue.
I drove my sister's swift before love it to bits. Told her to sell it to me once she is bored of it. She went and crash the car lol. Damn.
The Swift and even the larger SX4 hatchback/sedan and Kizashi are a joy to drive. Pity that Suzuki had bowed out from our market, and indirectly limited their parts supply chain compared to other Japanese makes.
Search for senhui auto. They supplies Ori Suzuki parts at rather lower price
Mr bobby, try test drive and make short video about Kia K3 year 2017 and above or Kia K5 year 2015 n above. Would like to know your honest comments.
Everyone thought I was joking when I told them that the swift through karak highway is as fun as a f30 328i
may be but not the power though. its like day and night difference
Of course. But when going through the bends, i felt it's just as cun la. If you have balls I think can easily potong some higher powered cars.
@@sizzer33 i have used swift 1.5 before , apart from sharp handling there is nothing to shout about. laggy acceleration, poorer nvh than myvi, crampier interior than perodua viva, plasticky interior. tell me bout it man. its an overpriced car
@@MH-tg2ng yeah. Unfortunately will change mine due to the space also. But I don't think it's over price due to the good handling. I rented the vios in Thailand for my road trip last year, that was really bad compared to the swift. But if you talking about space and practicality, yes then the swift is an overpriced car. Depend what you go for.
U shud try test drive the iriz. It has a sharp handling too and I've driven the 2019 civic, 2020 mazda 3
Hi Bobby, what’s your overall opinion on the second gen Suzuki Swift?
Hi Bobby, considering buying an Audi A4 or bmw 3 series, both new. Was wondering which one is better for me as a daily driver and for weekend genting trips as well, love the Audi quality and finishing, but worried about long term maintenance and reliability.Thank you
this model suzuki swift very nice and reliable. few understand
Proud owner here. Handling is amazing and it has keyless entry
any issues?planning to buy one any pros and cons?
@@ericcheong367 so far my car dont have any major issues yet.
@@bengh1201 what year model is it?maintainance is it exp?planning to grab one 2016 model roughly 38k
@@ericcheong367 mine is a 2010 unit previous gen. The 2016 one will be the 2nd gen but I recommend getting the 1st gen Swift Sport at 30k
@@bengh1201 okay so I'll have a look at 2015 swift thanks ya
Picanto 2018 ex boleh ikot evo enduro tak?
Bobby, sure swift 2010 can join Evo Enduro? 😃
Yr 2010 Swift, been driving it for 10yrs. Always wanted to upgrade to much more fun car, aiming for civic type r in 2yrs time.
Hopefully my swift last me till then 😂
I'm sure it can since the Swift Bobby driving is the same model as yours.. Mine is 2010 too, still runs great for a 10 year old car..
I own a suzuki zc21s convert to 1.6 sports
I love the swift small and nimble characteristics but i loathe the backseat which is rather tight
Why no beng
Bobby ..you have driven the Picanto GT before....how you find it compare to this swift? Even in the new Kia Rio 6speed.....is it comparable with the swift?
Swift is sporty and fun. Picanto is stable and rides like a much bigger car. Handles well too. Interior better built than the swift. swift handsomer
thought suzuki was in talks to re-open in malaysia, sadly no news after covid hit. was really excited for the new swift to be on the streets. pls make a review of it if possible. its priced at 130k min on the recon market for a '17 model.
I think they opening at Naza World
Test drive my swift sport zc31s all the way from penang, realman 3 pedals 😂😂🤣
M16a 💪🏻
1.6 sport version not bad. The latest one is either 1.2 hybrid or 1.4 turbo
Hi Bobby, any insider news that new swift will make a return? I was actually eyeing on used swift sports, but heard some rumors suzuki will be back to the country again, kindly advise
Dah ada swift 1.6 sport dan 1.4 turbo. Pilihan di tangan anda.
Swift vs iriz, which one is better?
What’s the mileage for this one? Planning to get one with 124k km, is it worth it? Need some advice. Thanks
check the service record. 124k should've done the major service and replacement of wear and tear parts, if havent done then dont ... but if done then it should be alright. because most major components are designed for 100k lifespan.
@@BobbyAngmalaysia ok thank you so much!
Good approach on the thumbnail since your channel name don’t tell what your channel does haha
Is it true that Suzuki swift has stop selling in Malaysia?
Macamana nak jadi ahli evo nih
Recon Swift Sport(6-Speed Manual) latest version cost more than RM100k
Is the Suzuki Swift qualified for EvoEnduro? or Suzuki Swift Sport?
Is Fenn selling the Swift? I’m in the market for one 😊
Seriously? Last 2 days i am browsing carlist for suzuki swift 😅 scared la racun by Bobby!
You are responsible in driving up the used car price of this model!
Damn it. Too late to get one now since this video is up.
Agreed. The first generation feels more steady that. The 2nd generation.
the sparepart nangis lohhhhh
Are parts expensive? Imported parts?
Looking forward for your reply, I'm also considering Swift
Spare parts are hard to get, thats why very expensive lohhhh
you havent driven a toyota avanza also bobby☺
avanza's rwd handling surprises me tbh. lol
Rear seat is the weak point
but swift’s only plus point is its agile handling otherwise its not pratical at all. damn crampy interior, less power, poorer nvh than myvi, not much functionality, and indont know man. the nvh is really really bad i would say. based on my experience using it for 2 weeks lst time when my friend lent his car to me when he went away
Hence it qualifies.
I own year 2008 suzuki swift 1.5 and the nvh is way better than my myvi (both car using same tyre, toyo cr1) maybe your friend's car using noisy tire?
