I agree completely but unfortunately police departments have lawsuits to worry about. In fact, more so than ever these days. The best we can hope for is that she does time in general population. Hopefully she is around other inmates that have kids. Then at least there is a chance that the inmates will serve her with proper justice.

No, it is quite easy to comprehend if you understand the law. His being a man is irrelevant. Their strict rules were not criminal. They were not at all chargeable offenses. Whether you liked them or not is irrelevant. An arrest is only based on a specific criminal act which violates specific statute. The only criminal acts were the events which occurred after he was fully separated from the family. What is as sad is we see adults not understand these basics and expect their feelings and opinions rather than proven fact and actual statute to determine conclusion. Due to that example given by parents, which we all see daily online in comments such as this, we now see far too many adolescents and young adults having absolutely no critical thinking nor logical reasoning skills;. It is such a disservice to the next generation.

It's a tactic. The cars are equipped with video and audio recording devices. Sometimes they are able to catch a slip up or four. Information they will never get out of the person during an interrogation. Sometimes it gives them (the investigators) a better idea on how to play them against each other during their interrogations.
It’s crazy isn’t it. Never seen such unprofessional protocol where two co-defendants are sitting in same cop car so that they can talk to each other like that in my life 😮💨
I actually think this was strategic for them to help with the case. Both had been charged so anything they said while in the patrol car together helps the prosecution build its case.

But Franke is OUTRAGED that these people have the NERVE to speak to her. And remember, Hildebrandt was abusing children who'd been brought to her, to abuse. Franke was abusing her OWN children. Actually Franke went into shock and disassociated, which the officer very openly realized, and which is the reason why he had severe concerns about getting a medical clearance before transfer.

The parole board decides yearly after 4 years about the sentence, so yes I also hope, they don't let her out after only 4 years and she actually gets a long sentence.
